You’re not wrong there, the man’s a bloody genius and a genuinely nice chap with it. As for a knighthood, he’ll he passed by to make way for a load of BBC-sprouted fiddy kiddlers. A great shame but perhaps one day. Though when King Jug Ears asks him what he does, Guy will explode with an information bomb in Charlie’s ear and said royal idiot will be left looking exactly like he’s been caught in the backdraft of a nuclear explosion. That itself would be a great reason to nominate Guy for an award :) :) King Chaz: “So, what dooo youu dooo?” Guy: Well, I’ve broke a few records done a bit of TV work and generally I’ve been building a bike that wants to go three hundred with me ‘angin’ on to the back of her like while it tries to mek its way to Whitby without me on her it the tyres spinnin’ in the rims thas holdin’ us back at the minute but naar av got the clutch sorted out we’re in with a real chance it just the weather that’ll ’old us back on the day like but nex’ Wednesday I’m of to Charnsbury Forest airstrip with a tank o’ E85 an’ I’m gonna push the owd girl as hard as I can manage like an’ ‘opefully I’ll still have ‘old of the bugger when she crosses the mile marker so whadda you gerrup to, day to day kingin’ what’s it like?” King Cnt: 💨 😮💥👑 At least, I dearly hope that’s the way it goes.
I really wanted to see David Jason attempting 300 dressed as Inspector Frost. I’m not saying I’m disappointed and I don’t necessarily want my money back, just mildly browned off… :) :) Absolutely brilliant work, eye-openingly remarkable to say the very least. Guy’s machine hasn’t been built in the luxurious surroundings of an F1 team’s workshop (though his shed is pretty fancy) and there’s been no computer aided design in this one (telemetry notwitwstanding). It’s amazing what can be done by a chap in a shed who has never studied engineering outside of working life. Extremely impressive I reckon.
He’s a very intelligent man. I met him in Norway 🇳🇴 and he switches on to everything he’s interested in within minutes. I told of getting 196mph (recorded on a ZUUMO) in Germany and showed the footage. He loved it.
The second Jack says i own holeshot racing i had immediate respect, the name holeshot is speed, i remember hearing about the Busa v8 and had to google it and holeshot are the guys that built it ive watched videos on the work and it is a piece of art! Something i couldnt understand why no one else makes well not like holeshot! I even downloaded the price list for a build for if i win the lottery first thing i would order!
@G55STEYR sorry m8 I edited that I meant 200mph. It was a Holden Commodore VY SS Series 2 station wagon with an lS3 engine off it's chops and a 6 speed manual.
He is, unofficially he's done 282mph, has recently made a lot of modifications to the bike in preparation for next year. If you search Morris lubricants there's a few videos with him talking in depth about the bike.
Hi mush, please will you post some videos of you talking about your bike you may think we will find it boring but we could sit here and listen to you talking about it for hours your proper salt of the earth mush get some videos up please
Have you seen the recent two Morris Lubricants videos? All it is, is Guy talking to Dave Jenkins (truck racing chap that he’s done a few things/records with) about his bike and what’s been happening. There’s also that annoying/boring chap that’s in all ML’s promotional stuff BUT Guy, without meaning to be rude, just talks to Dave about the bike and Dave asking some speed/racing/technical stuff that the other, boring chap wishes he’d asked but doesn’t know what’s going off :) :) Well worth a look, just search for Morris Lubricant’s videos and you’ll not be disappointed. I’ll even give ye a money-back guarantee on that one :)
Man this is just a re upload of an old interview. They were literally just out there a couple weeks ago trying to break 300 so I thought this was a new video. Jerk.
I'm so glad we didn't lose Guy at the TT, a real character.
True fact mate. He should've got a knighthood. So should John Mcguinness.
@@colinstewart1432 correct, more deserving of one than a lot of those that have been given them!
Completely agree, such a genuine bloke, love watching the TT and was so glad he called that corner on safety the day before

Guy is an inspiration, so down to earth yet passionate about engineering and challenges. Long may he continue............

One word to describe Guy Martin, LEGEND. I named my car after him...
Shame on you.a car?
@ReptileAssylum
Your one of those aren't you...
Is it a Honda?
@rcmakingtracks18 yes i point out self entitled mommies boys
He must be so proud 😂😂
A friend of mine used to own one of the frost wheelie bikes, a turbo gsxr in a spondon frame.
Jack frost is a total legend 👍

Bonneville and Pikes peak always seemed like interesting places to race.
Amazing Guy ❤
The man the myth the legeng.
Guy is a absolute legend and has huge balls
Most I've done in a car is 200mph. Station wagon too and 176mph on my Mt10 motorcycle. 300 MPH is a whole new level.
What car? 354km damn
@G55STEYR sorry m8 I edited that I meant 200mph. It was a Holden Commodore VY SS Series 2 station wagon with an lS3 engine off it's chops and a 6 speed manual.
Does anyone know if guy is still pursuing this or how close he came?
He's still doing it, saw the bike today at a bike show and he was talking about it, current speed for it is 270mph
@@themadburleigh thanks for the reply, that's pretty bloody quick

What is the great song?
You can still die in a straight line, Guy. I hope you achieve what you have set out to do.

@Lewis-kf2pj yeah watched them mush, I'm hoping guy will do something on his own channel, they don't go in depth enough mush
I love this man! Please adopt me!?! ❤🎉
Guy is the Contradiction.
Why can’t they be ridden on the road. There use to be a grey area with no sped limits let me guess that’s 100kmh now.
If you got a work shop I can build a bullet proof bottom end
Go for 310.686 mph (500km/h)
5th gear wheelie 🤣
Tyco suzuki
Remember jack from the 80s where I worked as an engineer. Top guy.
if you look back in time, he had a time of 222.2 MPH in the quarter very early nineties

If that's all that's wrong with your life, be grateful.
@@colinstewart1432 I’m very grateful for the quality of my life.
