At some point, the Catholic Church built a church on temple mount, replacing the Temple to Jupiter that was there. Later, the Muslims built their mosque there. All that is left of the Jewish temple is the wailing wall. I find it amazing that the Jews allow the Dome of the Rock to stay there.

The Romans destroyed the Temple in the Jewish Revolt in about 70 AD. That caused the diaspora that sent Jews everywhere.
At some point, the Catholic Church built a church on temple mount, replacing the Temple to Jupiter that was there.
Later, the Muslims built their mosque there.
All that is left of the Jewish temple is the wailing wall.
I find it amazing that the Jews allow the Dome of the Rock to stay there.
