I knew Fingolfin would top the list! Called it! Hahaha, and Glorfindel being #2 and Ecthelion being #3 would almost match my list, though I would never put Fingon anywhere near the top 10 to be quite honest, I might argue that Luthien might be the most powerful and if she's ruled out of the list due to being half-Maiar, I'd maintain that Gil-Galad might rank as high as #5, given he helped to defeat Sauron, with the One Ring & Earendil might be right behind Fingolfin given how Earendil defeated Ancalagon the Black. As to men, Turin might rank as the #1 fighter, with Elendil right behind him. Other than this nitpicking, and random thoughts on my part, very well done Helen, you've done a great job with these videos.

The hour has come :) A great conclusion! As always, your delivery is both compelling and interesting :) 3:20 Elena Kukanova's art is the stuff of legends... It's like she is guided by some force when she paints. Because she brings these characters to life and she represents them life no other. Many of the scenes she's painting out mind blowing. Definitely one of the great Tolkien loving artists to ever live. Finrod did indeed deserve a place of honor. Merely giving Sauron a serious fight, in a place where Sauron's power hold sway, that's insane. 11:40 And in his hand were also snacks for Asfaloth, I would think... After all, such a good boy deserves some payment in yummy calories for his efforts
I have two questions. Once the exiled Noldor came back to the undying lands, did they live in Tol Eressea or in Valinor ? And what of the elves of middle earth, could they choose between Tol Eressea and Valinor or did they all settle for the island?
Beleg deserves to be above Thranduil IMO. And I’m assuming half elves (Elrond and Luthien for instance) are excluded? Ecthelion also is the best name in Tolkien’s work, and any work I know of.

The list is very accurate and I'm not calling you out on not putting him on this list but just imagine fighting Thingol in a one on one combat, fighting an elf is a big thing but a F-ing 9 feet tall D*-head with anger issues, nah😑.
Im i the only one who thinks echtelion deserves to be resurrected like glorfindel ? The balrogs and more orcs then anyone ever his very name became the gondolinrim war cry . ( agreed on the wisdom of idrel )

Did the dwarves chop down Thingol at the ankles, knees, and then hips first before they killed him in the squabble over the Nauglamír and Silmaril?
