The Winter Olympics is a sports competition that many countries around the world participate in!
Some examples of Countries that participate are China, the US, Germany, and Canada! And so many more!
Top Athletes around the world attend the Winter Olympics to compete in their sport to show their talents and win medals!
The bronze medal, the silver medal, and the gold medal!
The Winter Olympics features 15 sports! All the events take place in snow and ice!
Some of the sports include..
bob sledding
ice hockey,
figure skating,
speed skating,
snowboarding,
curling
biathlon
skiing
lugeing
and skeleton!
Even Animals have participated in the winter olympics!!
They have not participated in official sports but they are apart of “demonstration events”! Dog sledding and skijoring!
