I'm glad that you have had good luck with yours. So far. Yes, that would be cool IF I wanted to drop another $100 on yet another transmitter. But the one they force everyone to buy is junk. The right stick stuck in the lower right corner instead of re-centering. This was on startup! The biggest reason I didn't buy the F09S is that ridiculous proprietary transmitter. I'm still figuring out all the switches/buttons on my NX10. Anything else flies great on my Radiomaster Zorro. Which is simply the best radio ever. I wish there was something cool here. There is not. It's landfill. Buy the fuselage for $40 and put it on a real helicopter. I don't expect to ever look twice at Yu Xiang again.
Thanks for the info. If I am ever in the market for a helo this one won't be one of my choices. Besides, I still have some learning to do flying my quad. I use the Spektrum DX6i to run it. Seems to work fine. That's the first one I've ever really used on anything RC. I did take some more video on my flight this morning so I have more fodder to practice my video editing. Went for about 10 minutes. It's fun. Nothing serious...just relaxing flight out to just short of a 1/4 mile. Any farther than that and I get nervous that I will lose track of it. Wouldn't want that to happen and have to put it down in a neighbor's field or on top of his house. :) I do live in the farming area though so houses are somewhat sparse. Thank you again.
Hey thanks for dropping in. I'm uncertain of their marketing strategy at Yuxiang. Seems misdirected. But that's my take. Could be I'm too old school. I just prefer to fly it myself and not have transmitters lying around everywhere. My DX6i has a dead throttle gimbal. My DX6 holds 200 models. Radiomaster is my favorite.
Thanks for the review! Not only does YX think every pilot wants a dedicated radio for every model, I guess they think they can do a better job writing a whole new (secret) protocol than the myriad of other options already available for years!
Man I feel you on this. I was looking at that Huey Motion did a video on yesterday, really nice looking, scale heli. Then he said you have to take up to several minutes to acquire a GPS signal?? It is more of a drone, I want a scale heli. That thing flies like a pissed off bug!
Oh man, this thing is a huge disappointment. Such great potential. That FW Huey does look pretty good. But I checked the requirements. There are only 2. #1. TX batteries. #2. Windows PC for initial set up. When I asked Motion if that is correct, they said it is not necessary. But it's right there on the page. Am I supposed to believe Motion or my own lying eyes? 🤣 Another work in progress being sold as ready?
That sucks that they have locked down the protocol. Sorry that it's a fail. It is a sweet looking little model though! Crepe myrtles look very healthy!
Those Crepe Myrtles must like full sun. The deep red one is my favorite. But I noticed some bagworms while flying. Yea maybe the Open Source thing will save the day. Such silliness.
love the heli! wonderful and explained review! This review is worth 1000 times more than the youtubers promoting these helis raving about them, but not giving detailed specifications... is it possible to connect an independent receiver and variator? like a flysky? Do you think the heli ESC will last more than 50 flights without burning out or failing? greetings
Thanks. Mine is history. They removed the ports that allowed me to plug in a Spektrum satellite in the original F-09. It's all about their proprietary stuff now. Silly wankers.
Very fine helicopter et flight !! However, I find it very stable and quite pretty in flight, even in manual mode, despite the radio control. it is good for having a good time I think, just for fun... 😀 To progress maybe use the F09 Black Hawk 😀
Cool thing is if you have the F09-S controller you can bind the F06 to it. It’s a much better controller with telemetry.

@@RARenfield I agree the transmitter that came with is junk. The transmitter should just be optional so we can use our own.

Thanks for stopping by! Other companies have tried this trick bag. They aren't around anymore.

Looks good. Flight was pretty good. So, pretty darn nice 👍
Thank you, friend. I couldn't have imagined a worse TX. When open source reverse engineers the Yuxiang protocol, their radio business goose is cooked.
Thanks for your review ordered 4 for the kids
Looked around and your the only one who crashes what does that say 😂 enjoy
All the best, friend. It tells me you didn't do your homework. Nothing more.

Looks good but very odd to control.
@@RARenfield New flight experience !! 😀
