Bruh, Russia had no other choice. If Ukraine had been a part of NATO then the NATO nations would have kept their nuclear armaments in Ukraine facing Russia. And, if there would have been any quarrel between the armed forces at the border then the NATO would have attacked it as it has a clause that war with one member would lead to war with all the members.
North Korea has done the same with Japan and so has China with Taiwan. Pakistan has also done the same with India but the only difference is that if India and Pakistan go to war then the entire OIC wouldn't fight for Pakistan.
When the USSR existed, there were two groups formed, NATO and Warsaw Pact. USSR dissolved its Warsaw Pact, shouldn't the USA also have dissolved NATO atleast 30 years back when its counter didn't exist? Isn't growing NATO especially towards the East an attempt to surround Russia who is all alone? If the USA has problem with Russia dealing in arms with its neighbour Brazil then why shouldn't Russia have problem with Ukraine being a member of the NATO?
