I don’t know what kind of custom EQ you have on the Blast 2, but if you set it up correctly, the Blast 1 doesn’t even come close. I had all three the Blast 1, then the X20, and now the Blast 2, and none of the predecessors sound as good as the Blast 2-if you know how to adjust the EQ.
Blast 2 even with eq can't compete in sound quality against earfun uboom x and blast 1, last band is 13khz, and the roll off after 15khz is not fixable because there is no 16khz band, it's sounds just awful for me, blast 1 doesn't sound perfect but it is better sounding one than the blast 2, im 100% sure you are just talking about the bass, meh the bass is weird too, really fake and drowning
I think the same, I don't understand what EQ mode they are using, the blast 2 is much superior to the blast 1 and it's not that its sound is bad in the blast 1, but there is no comparison. and all the development of several years of firmware and EQ that is the App has been for the Blast 1 and with that we are listening to the blast 2 in two types of speakers very different in configuration, one full range another separate range
both lacks treble refinement. The new one has a smoother but a bit recessed treble response and the old has a boosted but inconsistent response due to those known dips and peaks of it. I don't know that's just how I perceived it
Blast 2 on my measurement, got a roll off after 15khz, and with blast traditional at 16khz, because on this mode this treble around 10-14khz was very boosted

Bess comparison vid so far....good work....2 seems to hold bass at peak volumes better. It also sounds louder at after 70%.
