Star Wars, Alien & Blade Runner Sound Effect

- I really like this ambience sound so i tried to recreate it with a vst instrument in Cubase... by the way this four films are one of my favorite movies of all time.

I remember it from Blade Runner but never knew of the other ones that's cool.
Holy shit. I've never realized this was in Star Wars, even though it's one of the most memorable sound effects for me. I've always found it weird that not more people are talking about how they've used it both in Alien and Blade Runner, and now I learn that it also appeared in A New Hope?
Yes my friend, I think so as well as you. For me this is one of the best Sound effects too ...
and empire strike's back is it too in cloud city by the carbon freezer (product vain) scene after Luke is jumping down to look after Darth Vader.
That's why I make this Video cause this sound effect is so underrated... but powerful in armosphere.
Btw it is so unique that all films are one of my favorite movies of all time.. The effect simply fits perfectly in all of these movies..

Always loved that sound in blade runner and recently went back to watch the original star wars trilogy and heard it again.

What an atmosphere this sound makes in every movie...
I might have found another case of this being used.
Spies Like Us, about 52 minutes in, Bruce Davison & William Prince entering a secret base. It's blending into a bunch of other windy noises, but I'm pretty sure it's the same.

Oh man this is awesome! Yeah, this hum is familiar to me through Star wars. Just watched Blade Runner for the first time (I know, blasphemy) and I lit up when I heard this sound effect. So cool, thanks for the upload!
