Thanks for saying! We have a fun new one coming out where I'll be using Thickset to make a Halloween themed coffin shaped board. It's going to look cool. Stay tuned.
Great tutorial Shawn. I have a few of your molds and am getting into this epoxy/wood blending in my projects with my Dad. I am finding that after I pour the epoxy, and pop the bubbles with heat, I get more bubbles so I again pop them with heat. I am finding that no matter how many bubbles I pop when I take my project out of the mold it is loaded with pin sized bubbles on the bottom surface. I have tried 3 different epoxy brands now and can't get away from these darn bubbles. Please help...
Buy the silicone mold, pour 1/8” to 1/4’” epoxy resin in it. Let it harden for a few days then you have your own template to share with friends and family.
Question. What is the waiting time from when you apply mold release till you can pour the epoxy ? Is there a too long waiting time when you need to reapply the release before you pour the epoxy ? The spray cans of release make no mention of time factors ?
A friendly tip. When you are showing an item to camera, you seem to constantly move it. Spin it, flip it, etc etc. you don’t give the viewer much of a chance to look at the item.also. You never once mentioned the dimensions of the molds. You only said they are small, large and xtra large. But no dimensions. ?
Beautiful !!! love the way you use a Kettlebell too. Was waiting to see if your gonna give use a workout routine 🤣🤣😂😂
EXCELLENT tutorial!! Loved watching this come together

I noticed you didn't heat the bubbles. Was it because there were no bubbles? 28:01

About 5 minutes, as long as its dry. I havent heard of a time that it "too long" however.
