Just got done with my interview and we were approved on the spot. The interview took 10-15 minutes and was similar to the interview in this video. If your marriage is legit, you have no reason to be nervous.
We did exactly what he said in this video and we were out in 20 minutes!!...We dressed nice, were very polite and we gave the immigration officer all our attention and I think she liked that...The toughest question we had was where did we have our anniversary!!...GOOD LUCK!!!
We had our interview yesterday in Chicago. We’ve been together for 7 years; same language, race, religion, profession etc. We had our problems - we lived separately and had a crappy court wedding which no one attended, nevertheless, were approved on the spot! Our interview was a piece of cake and not anywhere close to what they show on YT.
Abdullah Al-Shimri wow how did they question you though ? Mine is also the same case as yours but we r living. Together. Were the officers this nice in the interview?
Hello this video was helpful to kind of help us to have an idea of how the interview will be and documents needed we had an interview yesterday none of these documents has been asked except IDs, my certification of naturalization, and approved I-30 for my hubby interview was like a conversation it took us less than 15 min we thank God for being our Lawyer don’t be scared be calmed and relaxed Good luck to y’all
I don't think USCIS officer will be this much polite and nice, but we will see, hopefully he/she will. The interviewer is so polite, after each sentence, he says thank you :)
I watching this video. has helped me a lot.Thank you very much officer.I got my green card..You are a good man and good heart. God bless you and your family.❤👍👍👍
The actual interview is quite laidback if you have all the documents prepared and if you have nothing to hide and your marriage is real you will be fine. Here is my experience: I didn't say sir or mam but I was super polite and talked appropriately. I didn't wear business casual, but I did wear fancy clothes as if I would go to a fancy 5 stars restaurant. Also, this video is advertising to get a lawyer. I didn't need one you most likely don't need one either. This video gave me so much anxiety the day before I had my interview. In fact, I couldn't sleep after this video. In reality you have nothing to fear about as long as your marriage is real, you have nothing to hide, and you are able to support that your marriage is real with documents such as joint accs, rental agreement, paid bills medical care etc, investments, business, paychecks, financial stability etc. My advise: be prepared, have the original documents with you, go through your documents and make sure you know what you submitted to the USCIS months ago. They may go through your whole application and beyond. They may ask you questions about your families, date of birth of you and your spouse, date of birth of your family members, general questions about the wedding and how you met and how you established your relationship. They may ask for evidence and more materials that proofs your marriage ( before and/or after the wedding). My interview took about an hour. So be ready and know the answers. Always tell the truth! Do not ever lie! You will be in huge trouble if you lie! Sometimes I couldn't understand the questions and I double checked to make sure I fully understand the questions. Whatever I wrote her is not a legal advise nor is it something you will experience the same. You may experience some of the mentioned points. It's my personal experience and I had a great and smooth experience with the USCIS, but I was fully prepared and had all my documents together to prove that our marriage is real. Good luck to everyone! It's a huge and long process, but at the end it is so worth it.
Wait. Why are your interview issues revolving around marriage? Eishhhh, some if us are single. So it means we won't be interviewed? So its about married people? Smh
Good inputs.. I'm still waiting for my firstly work authorization as well as advanced parole, then the interview date. I applied since in first week of June 2018.
Just received a mail today from the USCIS stating that our initial interview for the GC was scheduled on August 9. While reading the paper I start feeling anxious and nervous :) i pray to God that everything goes well like everybody else.....
Jie Yang Hi! We filed our case last april 8 and we received the notice for the interview last june 21... we are still complying the requirements until now . We didnt know that was quick... dont even have the ssn and drivers license yet...hope everything will be fine tho
I've been married 3 years, I currently have DACA, I notice that me having the DACA is a bunch of money to renew, the reason that I kept the DACA is because I will have to go out of the country since I came illegally at a very young age. on top of that a couple of lawyers told me that if I do the interview in my country there was a chance that I would get a really tough Judge, or Officer. Now I don't have any felonies just a couple of things, one supposedly misdemeanor that got erased, I have the disposition letter. but still as a result If they found anything on me I will have to stay for more than a year in my country. I have been here almost my whole. I got nothing to do in my country other than just visit family. Anyways, the time of my DACA renewal came and my lawyer failed to summit my forms on time, I waited since June 7 and we are now in October 22, Ive been checking on USCIS website and I finally got an updated message which said that they were sending a letter letting me know the actions that they were going to take, that scared me a bit. I got a letter today and it said the following. "In order to be considered for renewal of DACA, you must have meet the guidelines for consideration of initial DACA.HOWEVER, YOUR INITIAL REQUEST FOR DACA WAS APPROVED IN ERROR. You have been convicted of a significant misdemeanor" IN ERROR? That was a splash of cold water my friends! I was starting my business, had credit, hopes and dreams and with an error on their behalf the stopped everything, Did they get my disposition letters I ask my self? They didn't even sent an address for me to fight this, Can I fight this? any knowledgeable person that can guide me on what to do will be helpful! I really hope someone reads this or a lawyer. The Director of the USCIS Nebraska center named Loren K. Miller was the one who Reviewed my renovation, I pray for him to review all my paperwork and reconsider this decision.
We had our interview yesterday, the officer was so rude I couldn’t believe, was rude to our lawyers, to us, and to his supervisor when our lawyer asked to speak to him. I’m really nervous they are going to deny our petition! My husband and I have an age difference of 20 years and I believe he knew he was going to deny it even before speaking with us! 😞
Thank you for your comments you guys! My lawyer called me like a week ago and told me he got the supervisor to review my case and he called him and told him I was approved! I’m waiting to see it in paper to make it official! ☺️
Can't really see if she was wearing her wedding ring. Would that be questionable? I heard they ask about the price of the wedding ring and where it was purchased and so on..
funny you asked that. my friend was an electrical engineering major and after graduation began working as a low-level usps employee (placed parcels on a conveyer belt). he worked his way up and is not a manager in usps corporate. he makes 6 figs.

Thanks for this, I watched this the last night and today I got accepted my green card, it helped me basically to get into the position of the girl on the video and acting like her lol
Hi, thanks for the video. Do I have to return to my home country after I complete my studies on scholarship if I win a green card through DV visa lottery while on study visa? (Scholarship rules say I should return)
unfortunately on my passport issuance date it supposed to be 3 July but I dunno how it happened I did it 11 July do u think it's a problem...I just find it out from the print it out I made on my ds 260....it's supposed to be 3 July 2020 to 2july 2030 instead of 11 July 2020 to 2 July 2030 is that a problem sir
Keith Kohl you have to bring them to the interview. Don’t bring them in the room if not necessary but take them into the building and have someone babysit them, it’ll help you a lot and also bring their birth certificates!
So what would happen if they got divorced before the two year conditional green card is up? But it was a real marriage and both agree it was. It just didn’t work out?
MOHAMMAD JO With enough research. We found out as long as it was a “REAL” marriage and both spouses agree it was. They will NOT be deported. There is also some form the immigrant spouse can fill out to apply for the green card themselves after a divorce as well. So there are multiple ways an immigrant can stay if they’ve ended up in divorce or separation.
MOHAMMAD JO Yes it is. We were actually curious because a couple we are friends with have been having issues in their relationship. So we did some research ourselves. Also spoke with two attorneys. I forget the name of the form they would need. But I’m sure you could google it. 😁
I have I-130 approved back in 2014 as my spouse is a US-citizen, its for my green card, but we did not pursue further on NVC, now do I start all over again?? or I-130 again?
Laura Bello you will be ok just tell the true the officer are nice if you go with confident I do my interview last year after 5 days they send me the letter that I was approved cause our marriage was real even my husband is 16 years older than me know something the officer already know everything about you they may no asking so many question our interview last 10 minutes my lawyer was with us but he was quiet unless the officer ask something she was a really good lawyer
I just married my husband who is 30 years older than I am . I’m 24 and he’s 58 . Our marriage is real and we have all the proves , pictures , residence , bills ... yet I’m so nervous for the intervew ... I haven’t submitted my application yet . Any recommendations...?
Sarah Lee Doutzen My friends have a similar age difference. You will be fine. Make sure you have your documents, pictures etc. and make sure you have both names on different items. Rental agreement, mortgage, power bills etc. joint bank account. They actually didn’t ask them many questions about their relationship. Just mainly wanted the proof.
Good luck guys!! my wife and I are both students and only share 1 account with each other which is our T-mobile bill. We live with her father so there's really no other bills for any of us. Wonder if it will be an issue...We've been a couple since 2012 with videos on RUclips, would that be something we could show ?
Is it necessary that the applicant hands all the documentation to the interviewer or the petitioner can do it as well? Just in case the applicant doesn't not really know which documents he's asking for ... I mean , of course as an applicant you gotta go with the idea of every dpcument you have but sometimes the language (even if you speak fluent English ) it's hard to fully understand what the officer is asking for
I am approved for EB-1. My AOS was sent in March 2020 and I just received a rejection notice because I forgot to include I944. The USCIS is asking to submit the form but if I send it now (April 2020) will the AOS be rejected because the dates for filing has retrogressed for this month or will they accept it because it was initially timely filed?
I got a interview in couple of days im super nervous my lawyer said je doesnt need to be there. But im thinking he does im super nervous about them asking me for my criminal record.
Hi Juan, Did your attorney prepare you for the interview? We can't say what you need, or not, because we don't specifics on your case. However, if you have a record and you're nervours about it, it may be a good idea to have your attorney with you.
What kind of attorney did you hire for not showing up? unreal. I would immediately dismiss that attorney, and hire someone else. How did your interview go, anyway?
Met my husband in 2002 we got married in 2013. but I was married before and got a divorce is that a problem I haven't filled out immigration paperwork.
Hi. Am a m1 visa student with i20. Please terminating my i20 will it affect my adjustment of status. Because my school is very expensive for international students. Since I applied for my adjustment of status. Married to us citizen. I need your advice of what to do ?
Thank you for the informative video. I have a question: Does is matter that my Indian husband has long hair?? He ties it back... Your response is much appreciated!
Thank you for this awesome video. I’m in the process of submitting my forms but I need help in arranging them and what to do. Is there any way you can be of help please?
dear sir i really appreciate it i am one of the selected applicant in 2020 dv , before i am sending ds 206 i faced a problem of forgetting birth date , can you help me thanks
Hi Adele, we offer free consultation and you can speak directly to one of our attorneys. Call our office at 888-847-5342 to schedule an appointment. There are a few things to take into consideration, and the attorney can discuss it with you and give you legal advice even if over the phone.
Renante, It depends on the basis of which you applied for this work permit. There are many and processing time can take anywhere from 3 months to 10 months. You can check how long USCIS will take to process yours at egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/
Hallo Wilner, thank you so much for sharing, i feel great and have learned something i did not know. I have been applying for my green card 4 times now since year 2014 and have not been selected even now, what could be the reason? Its my desire to live and work in USA. Kindly help me out Sir. Thank you.
Hi Favour, Did you apply through the Diversity Visa Lottery? Please contact us at wilneroreilly.com/contact-us/ with details on how you applied. Thank you, Karin - W&O Marketing Director.
Hello Karin, i have sent you the reply on facebook since the address above you gave can't submit e.g phone number and office location since am in Kenya. Kindly check my reply on fb. Thank you, i appreciate alot.
WILNER & O'REILLY, APLC Hi Sir, if you entered United States by visa and got married a United States citizen. What will happen? Do you get the green card?Thank you! While living in the United States?
My wife and I live with her father, partly to save money and the house is incredibly big so it's not an issue. Therefore we only have 1 bill that we are on together which is our T-mobile bill, would this necessarily indicate something bad? We're both currently studying.
Hi Henrique, it is important that you discuss this information with an experienced immigration lawyer. If possible, obtain a court disposition that provides detailed information about the conviction and sentence so the attorney can let you know if the person can or cannot get a green card. We offer free in-person consultations if you're close to one of our offices, please call to schedule an appointment. www.wilneroreilly.com/office-locations/
Yes, she can if she is a US Citizen or permanent resident. Your priority date and processing will change once you turn 21 so it's very important to consult an attorney so you can understand the process and plan accordingly.

Easy then I thought, just make sure you have lots of evidence.Like bank statements, health and car insurance and pictures with family and friends
Thank you so much for your video. It will be a couple weeks from now for my interview to come.
This will help me tremendously, sir.
Angel James thank you sooo much !!! :)
Good luck guys!! my wife and I are both students and only share 1 account with each other which is our T-mobile bill. We live with her father so there's really no other bills for any of us. Wonder if it will be an issue...We've been a couple since 2012 with videos on RUclips, would that be something we could show ?
Why am I watching this? 😂
IDK, why?
This is helpful. Thank you!

Is it necessary that the applicant hands all the documentation to the interviewer or the petitioner can do it as well? Just in case the applicant doesn't not really know which documents he's asking for ... I mean , of course as an applicant you gotta go with the idea of every dpcument you have but sometimes the language (even if you speak fluent English ) it's hard to fully understand what the officer is asking for
The petitioner can also hand out the documents. That's not a problem.
Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!

Hi Juan,
Did your attorney prepare you for the interview? We can't say what you need, or not, because we don't specifics on your case. However, if you have a record and you're nervours about it, it may be a good idea to have your attorney with you.
What kind of attorney did you hire for not showing up? unreal. I would immediately dismiss that attorney, and hire someone else.
How did your interview go, anyway?
Met my husband in 2002 we got married in 2013. but I was married before and got a divorce is that a problem I haven't filled out immigration paperwork.

It depends on the basis of which you applied for this work permit. There are many and processing time can take anywhere from 3 months to 10 months. You can check how long USCIS will take to process yours at egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/

The person who was arrested can get a green card?
Hi Henrique, it is important that you discuss this information with an experienced immigration lawyer. If possible, obtain a court disposition that provides detailed information about the conviction and sentence so the attorney can let you know if the person can or cannot get a green card. We offer free in-person consultations if you're close to one of our offices, please call to schedule an appointment. www.wilneroreilly.com/office-locations/

What's the man said ??? His passport is what
I am a girl of 20years can my mum file for my green card while I am in Nigeria
Yes, she can if she is a US Citizen or permanent resident. Your priority date and processing will change once you turn 21 so it's very important to consult an attorney so you can understand the process and plan accordingly.
