I am still listening as obsessively as I did after his Idol preview, and buy everything he puts on iTunes, and have a bunch of merch, but still feel like I owe him big time for the amount of time I spend listening to his music, since there are no concerts right now. I did use Bandcamp to donate a couple of times, but do you know of some official place where we can just send him whatever $$$$ we can? Or anyone who reads this - any ideas?

I think the 1st and 2nd place result is perfect for both Laine and Alejandro. Laine now has a path to the life he wanted as an 8 year old child and Alejandro now has a huge fan base and the freedom from contractual obligations to compose and develop his craft at his pace according to his inspiration and unique skillset. You really think he’s naive? No one in the history of AI had done more than 1 original the entire season. He freakn did 7 of his originals and has more than another 7 originals plus all the samples that will turn into genius originals soon. The man is a legend. Too good for s karaoke show. So glad he keeps creative controls over his music and whatever contract he still has with them will be little impact as it will terminate sooner. He has a scheduled mini tour, album, and single coming. He won, f the title. Just an FYI- his singles are being added to other music platforms. I purchased the 3 available singles on ITunes and NOW they are also on Amazon Music-which I love. I have purchased those on BOTH. I love them both. I think Laine (Elvis) won American Idol because of the mass appeal in singing songs well known to the listening audience. So he got more votes. The more evolved musicianship of Alejandro (Chopin) requires more evolved musical sensibilities in the listening audience. So he got less votes. That’s why the musical compositions of Bach, Chopin, Mozart, Beethoven, etc, are enjoyed from generation to generation. We have to grow a little to appreciate the beauty and depth that music can convey through the soul of a musical genius.
Alejandro didn't lose at all, he simply chose not to take the win so he wouldn't be obligated to follow what AGT had planned which is good. now he can be signed with anyone and not just follow AGT has/had planned for him. Great choice, best choice

His Ten Years performance with the orchestra was chilling. Out Loud is & has become his most popular song all over the World; from the first time he performed it as his audition song on American idol.
First time I enjoy AI because this musician brings a different flavor, and he is so young but understand music so well. He is a music genius and a compelling song writer.
