Witch i find very hypocritical considering circumcision.... As you make non reversabe permanent change.... You can always remove a tattoo with laser... But you can't grow skin back on your peepee.... Sad that it's done to kids with no amnestezia or anything.... Also sad that kids can't reject the proces.... And decide later in life when they have their own mind...

What do you think about my situation sir?
Forget the people who condemn you for having them. Sometimes you may have to cover up the most visible ones, but even if someone sees them you just say you're a revert. Tawheed/monotheism is the biggest thing. We all have to fulfill the responsibility our Creator gave us in this life, which is to worship him alone without partners and intercessors and to do what he's commanded.
You do not have to explain yourself to anyone because your faith is only between you and Allah. Since you want to revert you will be forgiven for all your past sins. Remember this life is only temporary no one but Allah knows when you will take your last breath. We should use the time we got left to praise and worship our creator. Trust me it is not worth caring about what other people might think about you. You should do what your heart tells you to do and remember that people will judge you no matter what in this life. If they give you a bad comment or two, so what? Life still goes on. You need to stay strong there will always be people who always want to bring you down. In shaa Allah one day, you will find the courage to accept Islam if you did not already.☺️

Your past sins are forgoven when you accept islam and take the shahada. So if Allah has forgiven you, who are the people to look down on you/critisize you? Most muslims who follow islam correctly will always remind themselves and other's of Allah's mercy, not criisize you. There will always be some people who do critisim anyways, just block their words out of your mind. As most people are telling you, as soon as they come to know that your a revert they will immediately stop that critisim. But some may, out of general concern, as youd be our brother, want to guide and remind you (not knowing that your a tevert and assuming that your someone in need of a reminder, guidance, a helping hand) out of wanting the best for you. Either way, there will those who always remind you that Allah is Merciful and there will also ve those who critisize but keep yourself focused on Allah. Its Allah that you need to please. Also I would recommend reading about Islamic stories of Allah's forgiveness

Ofcource you can convert. Allah forgives all of your past sins when you convert. So your basically like a new born baby because you have zero sins. Also about the shaking hands fatwa, I would recommend you see the fatwa at islamqa Question no. 2459. It gives islamic hadiths along with their sources for citing an answer or issuing a fatwa. It speaks about this along with the related hadith

All u have to do is explain u are a revert and have been forgiven and if its too expensive u don't even have to have them removed
