I feel the same way I told my wife. When I was practicing, my hands went up both of them. Uploader you Own it. You have beat me now, I'm not going to competition. And that's respect to you!! there's no way if me and you went competition. I'm out. I'm just starting at the beginning. I can keep going, but when he got faster to me. If it was competition, I tip my hat, sir. Don't stop practicing. Remember, smooth is fast. What if it was auction at a retirement home, Think about it. They might be a little hard-of-hearing. You have to go slower way slower because you want them to hear the number. The number is the most important thing beyond all the gibberish. The filler words.
So the auctioneer at the company that I work at let me call bids under his license which is legal in Maine. The first like 10 bids I think I did all on one breath I was forgetting to breathe deep, but after I remember to breathe deep and speak for my diaphragm it actually became van and I was just blowing it was so good I go for my actual exam on the 13th this month. I've learned a lot from a lot of auctioneers but you're the only one that I've learned from who I've never met. Thank you for the help.
You made it so simple... Thank you. I'm a truck driver with limited space. I can worry about amplification but what type of microphone do I need? Directional omni directional I don't know.
Hi Heather! Thanks for the comment! Just take it one thing at a time. It takes years of practice to develop. You will be just fine! And if you'd like extra help, please contact me. I help auction students all over the USA!
If I practice all this stuff (I'm 78) will I finally be able to do Leroy Van Dyke's "Auctioneer" song from 1956 😎 this is the only part of the song I have never been able to do 🤣 Thank you
When I did whitewater guide training they used to "slow is smooth, and smooth is fast." I think it originally has something to do with shooting? I like your videos, definitely helping me put different wisdoms together into one.
I watch this video probably 50 times and I chant right along with you appreciate it going for my auctioneers exam September 13th thank you

Sensational video!
Great content. I’m brand new in this world. I thought the part about when you incorporate multiple filler words was particularly helpful for me.
Excellent skills! 💯
Wow, excellent
Good job 👍

Sir I had no idea there were words. I thought it was rambling my grandfather would do in Louisiana. I’m 48yrs! I never knew and didn’t ask!

Yep! No one person has all the answers. It’s better to have an arsenal of material than one weapon. Glad you’re enjoying the videos!
Awesome
You are Very Smooth
Imagine if you will; a legendary beatboxer teaming up with a legendary auctioneer. Would be BONKERS
There are many videos of auctioneers performing their chants over a beatbox beat. Check those out!
This video has 2009 feels
dang.. got out bid on that mirror... thats ok, every mirror I have ever bought the picture in it hasn't been worth hangin in the outhouse.
🤣
!
there's a lot of echo, hope you have better acoustics in other videos
Don't do your videos in an empty room! Too much echo or voice delay......makes you difficult to hear.
Great stuff
