Kanduli is Maguindanaon term, which literary means "OFFERING" which
to sustain what we have achieved or even asked some blessing for the
improvement of life of every citizen in the community.
Kanduli festival is a culture and Islamic faith based activity which also
mean. "THANGSGIVING" foe every good deed a Moslem brother have
done for his brethren. In like manner, food offering is traditional offered
or share to show love and concern to others especially to less fortunate.
These are the reason why we can cot just put streamers anywhere in the
the creator for what we have now and at the same time pray not only to
sustain our present conditions but to harness some more the climate of
harmony and widen the horizon of unity, peace and development that
dwell on our hearts and flourish between among us in the next days or
years to come.
Kanduli Festival is a 3 days celebrations culminates every 12th
days of October. This celebration was started since2002 during the
administration of Hon. Datu Suharto T. Mangundadatu. The festival
showcases different events and activities highlighting the revival among
which is the inland fishing products and different Moslem delicacies.
The celebration also recognizes the vital role of the different sectors,
such as the religious sectors both Muslim and Christians, the education
sectors, the Senior Citizens, the Women's Organization, the Farmer's,
the Youth Sectors and others Civic Non-Government Organization in
this municipality because it is acknowledge that they are part of major
contributor making what is Lutayan now.
