Could you tell me which device you use: a keyboard or a joystick and what kind of settings you have? And also could you give some very basic advice to a beginner on how to play and do various cool combos, as you do?
Certainly. I use keyboard, and the setting is like, WASD=↑←↓→ , ABC=NumPad456, AB=Num7, BC=Num9, ABC=Num8, Touch=Num1, Start=1, Taunt=2 (the last two are in main keyboard area). Feel free to set it as your habit, or anything you think it would be optimal. It's just a habit issue. As for basic advice, Idk if you will choose Princess Mode or Normal Mode. I play NM at the first, now I'm practicing PM for helping beginners better. PM is a mode you can combo easily by mashing AAAA, and use specials with only one button or two. But it lacks many things that exist in NM, which makes your neutral and high damage combos pretty hard and inefficient. No matter what mode you choose, I think it will be a good start to practice Battler, since there are two Battlers in this game, and they are very similar, which means you practice 1 character but get a pair. About combos, I made all characters combos here: ruclips.net/video/Lhi6_QRrNRY/видео.html But those are NM. PM part is still in progress, slowly... Except for combos, the mechanism in this game is very important, and fun. Manage your gauges, exchange characters at proper time, make good use of the ABILITIES of both sides and meta world, all these stuff are not only exercises, but also an intellectual activities. The most import advice should be, join us on Discord: discord.gg/xsgJKjh Silly me forgot put this on the introduction... Join us, and you can ask any questions more conveniently, many helpful guys are there waiting for you, some of them are even still new, but contributed a lot for the community recently, like perfecting wiki, making team tierlist spreadsheet etc.
