Ash just wanted to say you were the first WoR content creator I watched when I discovered the game, and when I found your channel I was at one of those lowest of lows that you talk about in your intro. I really appreciate the care and effort you put into speaking to your audience beyond the game, you truly are the cream of the crop when it comes to content creation and positivity! I am on the up lately and feeling better every day that I wake up, I just wanted you to know your kind messages mean a lot to us out here and I am glad you always start your videos off with positive affirmations for us!

I just pulled Artemis and he's my first anti-heal, I'm excited to build him out and try to finally beat GR 1-21
There's a ton of heros I don't use, but thats due to the lack of gear. I'm also not into the whole build 5 and swap gear every 5 min strategy. 356 days of playing & im still stuck on GR-19.
Without swapping gear you won't get far trust me. I have 3-4 sets that are my best gear and i use to progress and ~10 other sets that are on heroes who don't really need good gear to do their job (warth , Abomi, valk, merry, all of my healers and tanks )
LoL build your champs right, a year in you should be beating 21 Gear Raids

Thanks for the opening! It’s been a rough day and the positivity was really nice to hear! Also I have A2 Artemis and he has been one of my best characters, however I agree with you, he’s fun to play but not entirely essential. Still he’s a blast when you put him next to a Khamet in GR1
I use Artemis everywhere. I geared him to be one of my best geared which makes him a decent healer not top healer but the added damage helps and makes him more valuable then a normal healer. he shines when he can hit alot of targets and still heals during his Ult. Sure sometimes I need vortex because of the wide range. Overall Artemis isnt super special but if you need only alittle healing and as much damage as possible he is very good.
I don't think there is a single hero that I was excited/looking forward to get that I don't use in at least 1 area (I don't count faction trials as a use case example since there isn't much choice). The answer would have been Alistair, but now he is on one of my GB2 teams.
Ash! This was an awesome discussion, love it! To answer your questions: 1) Until recently, I would have said Volka, but was mainly because I did not know how to use her. 2) I use Artemis in a number of situations, so I was happy to get him and I still use him. Having said this, I totally get that you might prefer the two awesome anti-healers you named instead, especially if they do other stuff better too. Oh and you look awesome in the suit!

I keep WANTING to use Laurel but I never seem to actually do it. I just can't get in the rhythm of placing her and taking her out. But it might be because I don't really have any top-tier DPS heroes (like Silas, Khamet, etc) where getting some extra ultimate would help. Yeah I can get extra ultimates with her right now but its not giving me much more DPS...I get more DPS by just having another hero constantly doing damage.
Try it with Imani. She nerfs herself after ult so you take her off and place laurel, then when imani is ready again do the swap. Also you can only place 8 so dropping and removing laurel for constant ults is op.
Keep practicing, it'll be helpful to have that ready to go once you're ready to rely on it. Especially for something like GR3 to keep Idril up as much as possible.

Thanks for the video, very fun to think of all the good hero's that I don't use very often. I think that particularly in this game timing has a lot to do with people feelings. Ajax was my first aoe mage so made a huge difference in my account and I use them still a lot but I needed him so I took the time to experiment with him and learn how awesome he can be. For instance I put him with luneria most often because I love the extra range to his already crazy range for campaign or void rift maps but on the gold raid levels I will use him with wrath to get the extra speed since he covers the entire board with his range. I even ended up using him as my third mage when I finally beat gr1-21. The downside to him and what I think probably keeps people from even trying him is his cost.
I do wish I could find more places for falcia and I do use her when I need magic damage but for such an expensive/rare hero she doesn't hold up to that tier that other super rare heros fall in.
Setram is easily replaceable in guild boss once your team is strong enough to not have to hold ults to break the shields as his only really strength is his range and breaking shields but even in the same gear he can't compete damage wise with several other archers in the game.

artemus was my second legondary, got him on a 1+1 event with Vierna. He was used EVERYWHERE even when i had Hollow and Dolores, I had no idea how to use them. No he sits on the bench and I hardly ever use him.
I dont have artemis, but you can look at fastidious' video to try a similiar build and male him work. HE WAS AMAZING
I was pretty excited to get Zealous, especially since they had a shard collecting event to get him, but I never use him much...

It is interesting that you reference Artemis. I largely feel the same about him, although he was huge in helping me push up to lvl 5 on gear dungeon 1 aka gear raid 4. I think part of the issue with Artemis is that I have other characters that fill the same role that have their skills maxed out and their niche in my account already taken. If I didn't have another anti healer I think that Artemis would be indispensable.

I agree on Artemis. I pulled him and wasn’t happy. I tried to use him in GR1 and found that Laseer was better, at least for my team. Everywhere else I use Elowyn, Vortex or Hollow.

I pulled Artemis during the Anora event; haven't really used him yet because I just have no clue how to build him, he does a bit of everything, so I don't know how to optimise his use for my account specifically. I'm working on building him, though, as I don't have Laseer and Kria isn't awakened at all. So maybe I'll start using him soon! I used him in faction trials once because I needed a cultist healer and didn't have any others.
Think of him as a secondary healer and focus on damage stats. If he's A0 use a crit rate bangle that way once you get his A1 you only have to swap that piece out for ATK bonus or Crit damage rather that redoing multiple gear slots

Got laseer as my first lego. Like 2 weeks later i got khamet and then rarely touched laseer. Today i pulled on the 1+1 and now i have A4 laseer.

I know that Micah guy IRL and he's active in my Guild. Of all the WOR players, I probably talk to him the most. You'd probably get a kick out of seeing us argue about stuff. I sometimes try to get him drunk, but I'm not going to share any Drunk-Micah stories here.

I think you're crazy. I was able to push GR1-21 with Artemis. I use him in GvG, Factions, and a lot of temp content, like Eternal Spire, especially Spire 4 and 5, was able to acquire all 16 medals with Arty.
I mean I think Artemis is great for GR1 and GD1. I never use him apart from that but who knows, maybe anti-heal will get an expanded role in this game considering he has another banner coming up

Very Spiffy!!! You want crazy, here goes. I don't use Delores. She was my most wanted. I have been playing seven months (FTP only). I got her a month or so ago. I don't have great gear in general, so I don't think I have the right gear on her. I just can't seem to get the hang of using her in the battles.
I wanted Artemis badly and spent a lot of resources to pull him. Couldn't get him to work - thought it must be because he's so much better at A1. So pulled a dupe, awakened him.... and still don't use him. I want to. But I can't make him work. Probably a "me" error.

I'd definitely say you're wrong lol. Artemis is worth more than both kria and laseer combined. He is the best anti heal in the game and outdamages both of them and heals on top.
Hes also key for making gear dungeon 1 a cake walk for an endgame account.

Myca for me - I thought she'd be good for fac trial but was useless! Now does nothing! Was not using Artemis but was great for fac trial.But then remembered the main one - Laya - pulled her early on my account but Vortex was far more use, after pulling Elowyn Laya really saw no use! her incoming buff is really really needed for her

I don't use Artemis either actually. It's not that he's not great, but i never made the switch. Laseer does what i need.
Mine is probably Vierna. I wanted her for like 6000 summons straight and the only thing she does for me is boost Silas. She's so clunky to use i just leave her on the bench.
But i started with Khamet, so my AoE mage problems were solved right from the get.
I can’t justify bringing Artemis in place of one of my other healers because he can’t keep my characters alive. My account isn’t that full fleshed out either..

I agree on Artemis, and I don't even have other good anti-heal options. I think I am either not using him properly or do not have other support heroes that synergize with him well. Stuck at Round 4 Gear Dungeon 1 and 2. Any tips? Been looking at videos but hero combi doesn't work. Missing all the critical heroes.

I love ya Ash, but your no H Bogart. That was the best dressed man in history. I agree with you about Artimus actually He is just a meh level healer to me, A1 Laseer and Zelus with exclusive here. I have pretty much every meta mage in the game for Damage(except Demi.) I honestly prefer Ezryn, Evelyn, Vortex for healing anyway. To me Artimus is a difficult champion to build because he is so stat intensive. For my acct Level the regular Damage dealers and healers have more utility. I have Artimus at A1 actually. Please make more WOR content as I unsubscribed from your raid channel when I uninstalled the game.

My problem with using Artemis on gr1 is positioning. Basically i can choose to position him to attack or to heal, but i can never put him in a spot where he's maximally able to do both. His range is too limited. I'd use him if he had wider range.
@@wyrmdancer2401 You don't have to have him healing the whole party, bring other healers. I use Him, Hollow, and Elowyn; and Delores but she doesn't add much to the healing. I put him in the top right corner facing left and he covers 4 party members and himself. I put Hollow on the bottom right corner, and between the 2 they keep the whole right side healthy.
@danielegan1870 if he is healing his party, he's not able to cover most of the mobs in the pit. At most he's going to hit like 2 squares and at that point he's not really worth taking for the anti heal and his healing is kinda meh if you have other healers with rage regen, inspiration or attack speed....
@@danielegan1870 I'm stuck at 19, but I think it's more of a gear issue, but my heroes are on the left: starting from the top left: Dahlia, Laseer; Dolores abyzhou and hollow faced to heal that side. On the right: Twinfiend, elowyn and Ajax. Ajax under the Infernal banner.

DMG: Khamit- 104.3m, Artemis- 56.7m, Morrigan- 36.5m, Trusk- 5.4m, & Venoma- 2.9m.
Heals: Artemis- 19.3m, Elowyn- 6m, and Hollow- 3.8m.
So he has the numbers, as for Anti-healing, it's AOE so he can still hit adjacent tiles, and he splash heals while doing DMG with his ult.
for me it's arrogance. he was my very last normal leggo... and I'm not sure I'll ever use him.
I got kicked in the teeth with Orim because I only had Baron and hadn’t unlocked Olague so when I pulled on the banner with Orim and got him I was legit excited but oh man was I so wrong he’s so trash as a defender it’s sickening. He’s like the ground unit Cratch. I mean even Azor has a use now with Gear dungeon but I still don’t see anyone revisiting a use for Orim.

Ash clearly hasn't cleared GD1 stage 6 if Kria is good enough for anti heals. Sure laseer works but artemis wears 2 hats. More hats = more win.

Artemis is the GOAT for anti-healing, and when bringing both healing and dps, he just outshines all the other anti-healers by miles. Laseer is just bad compared to Artemis.
I just got Torodor the other day and quickly maxed him out. I don't know where to use all the legendaries I get, so he hasn't been touched yet.
It's the one thing that still confuses me when playing this game. Which champions to replace since I mostly use the first legendaries I have gotten. They all mostly seem the same to me, unlike Raid where you quickly know where and how to use them.
If you still use Wrath just swap him out for Torodor. He's also a solid tank thanks to his revive.

Uh...nope. Moonton has been fcking me for 5 straight months, so if I get a hero who is even mediocre, they're getting used!
- well below avg average hero rating
- despite having just 19 of the legendaries you can pull from the normal pool of 46, I somehow have 13 dupes
- only have around 2,500 summons, 2k of which were during x2, but still triggered pity 6 times
- took forever to get my 1st Leg. Lord, got my 2nd a week later...dupe. None since.
Honestly, I'm getting ready to quit the game because I'm sick of playing on ultra-hard mode and watching at least half my guild pull miracle after miracle month after month. When will Gacha games finally learn that a pure RNG-based system is stupid? Why use dumb luck to reward some players, but punish others? How do they not know that those unfortunate fckers on the bottom end of the bell curve are likely to quit? If they want to retain their players, they to stop allowing RNG to royally fck over 20% of their customers!
