My Denon Prime 4 works great with version 1.6.0. And the same way when I updated my Denon Prime 2! Both controllers works flawlessly with version 1.6.0!!! THANK YOU DENON!!!
It's pretty fiddly to touch the preview play button in the small list. So please make a preference available where I can apply the main dial push button to play and juggle the preview. Especially in two deck mode I never use the push function to load a track. Or alternatively we could use the decks transport and jog wheel, when cue is on and fader down. Or a double push could open a preview player.
Hey @DenonDJ, I wonder, also the VERTICAL layout seems to be improved, showing more track columns (8-9 vs 5-6) on the Prime 2 and Go as I just checked your homepage! Can you confirm and give some more details? Is the font size also changed? Unfortunately this wasn't shown in this video, albeit being very relevant and helpful for many :)
Love the new features but..... do you think it's possible to add play count in future updates? I'd like some more detailed way of keeping track of my song history and popularity.
@denondj please fix the contrast problem! the screen are not bright at all and djs have a problem to play outdoors with it! huge problem we cant se a thing under the sun!
Nice now can you add a search playlist feature, instead of searching my whole database. Narrows down the search when I’m just trying to look for songs just in that playlist. This helps a lot in a live setting when I’m trying to find a song on the fly in a playlist that I know that it’s in there!! 🙏🏽🙏🏽
love this , would love if the prime 4 had better effects as i personally feel the flanger and phaser are pretty naff , they were much better on the mxc8000
Hello, i just get my Prime 4 a few days ago. I'm transfering all my libraries from my rekordbox previous. The limit of the tracks how can be stored in a rekordbox is 10.000. Do you know ohw much is the limit for the Engine Prime ?? thx oliver
Does anyone know if this unit works in a club set up where 2 dj's will be playing (currently using laptops with VDJ). How can the 2 dj's switch (currently using Pioneer DDJ-1000)?
nope. the only difference is, you can retrigger the loop while the loop is running (as the hot cues work) and you can release the loop with the pushing of the move loop knob. (since the performance tabs retrigger the saved loop - if you set the behavior of the loop in the settings to reloop)
@@djsonofibiza the only difference is (I have P4) if you enable the trigger in the settings - the saved loop will be retriggeable. If you do not, the loop will be selected and if it is running, pushing the loop performance key button, the loop will quit. Basically it is working with this feature as a hot cue what is looping. Hopefully I was understandable... :-)
Has anyone else having a problem updating prime on os. After doing the update when booting up engine Prime up it turns off straight away. I've tried to re-download it and it still does the same

Please increase recording volume in the next update as well. That would make a great player even greater ;-)
How about upgrading the record function with level adjustment & display? Also, put a clock on the screen...like every other device has.

Does this loop feature add active loops, meaning setup a loop somewhere in the song then it activate automatically?

I sold mine because of bad sound quality + bad SQ on headphones + other weird things with sync
All drives corrupt under 1.6 - as soon as you switch to the beta it's fine. Good job releasing PIECE OF CRAP SOFTWARE
