  • The World Museum Liverpool has a new temporary exhibition running until 5th May 2025 called Bees: A Story of Survival.
Bees: A Story of Survival was designed and produced by Wolfgang Buttress Studio and developed in collaboration with National Museums Liverpool.
The exhibition details how bees have adapted to survive since the time of the dinosaurs, and how vital they are for the survival of humans and The Earth.
The exhibition is free for members or £12 if you don't have a membership (children aged 12 to 17 entrance fee is £5).
This is a fantastic exhibition, with a brilliant soundtrack created using records of bees in the hives (40,000 of them!), and an array of interactive displays, lights and sculptures.
We spent around an hour going through the entire exhibition at a leisurely pace, and feel like it was well worth the entrance fee.
For more information on the exhibition check out the World Museum website - www.liverpoolmuseums.org.uk/w...

Hi, I'm thinking about taking my toddler there this Saturday, do you think she would enjoy it? As she loves bees

Honestly, I don’t think so. There’s a lot of artistic elements and not a huge amount at toddler height. The light show elements are good, but the few toddlers we saw were very much running through because they were bored. If you’ve never been to the museum before, I think the rest of the museum has a lot to offer for toddlers, but I feel like this exhibition is more suited to 10+ (though as a disclaimer we don’t have children so could be completely off the mark!)
