I think that people dislike Kokko's light voice and love his deep voice, and after listening for a long while notice that the light voice is extremely remarkable with the bands extraordinairy guitar, which by the way is the singer's own brother! The singer has two remarkable voices and his bro is guitargod

Kalmah has a good range of beautiful heavy vocals, while still retaining the melodic properties of black metal. It's a good conglomeration of talent. Also, alot of musicians from Finland are actually very talented. Music + Finland = Win.

drums sound so amazing because the drummer (sorry don't know his name) has a double base petal... its still very impressive to see what he can do. i can play this song just i don't have that second petal so its impossibly hard....and sounds nothing like it.

If you have the patience for different forms of jazz music, watch this show. If not, carry on listening to metal, then try jazz and the blues, and perhpas you'll see the similarites. Then again, you might not.

I discovered Kalmah in 2004, they were my gate for the extreme metal realm, the solos are always great.
