That was an intense fight, wow! Especially when you died JUST before defeating him... that's always gutting when that happens but at least you managed to pull through and it was really fun to watch! And yup, when Joe reunited with Sylvia I IMMEDIATELY knew that she would be taken away again, I've played enough video games and seen enough movies to know that *always* happens!

yeah another fight where it unintentionally played it on hard mode haha There's a gimmick to beating him that I didn't pick up on. Had i realized it, this fight would've been so much smoother
and yes can't have a good ending just yet! We still got a final boss to beat

Oh man, I can't remember how long it's been since I've played this, I was like a teenager when it came out, I definitely agree with the final boss being hard, HOWEVER, I never started out in Kid mode, I can't even remember all the modes there were for this game, but Kid mode was definitely one I never started with. I should go back and finish it considering that I still got the game in its case and a Gamecube with no CRT television to play it on.
Watching this really helps refresh my mind with how difficult this boss is, and now knowing how to beat Fire Leo, I'll be sure to remember the strats and finally beat the game that's been on the back burner for what feels like 3,000 years. Thank you for uploading this!

I started off on Adult mode, but dude it was too tough for me haha so I decided to record this on Kid's mode becasue I didn't want to get stuck on a section too long while recording. Pretty tough game for sure, but it's so fun. Once I figured out how to play it, it was such a blast to play through.
You should definitely boot it up again and finish it!

After catching aflame with Mach speed, hit him and break his armor using zoom and slo-mo. It'll make him a lot easier.

I also noticed you have issues dodging (the 2nd game explained it a lot better though the same method is used in both games). When the yellow skull is near your head, press down to duck. When near your feet, press up to jump. That'll help keep your V-meter from running out too quickly after being hit.

yeah I looked up how to beat this boss after the fight and wow I really decided to play this on insanely hard mode haha he's really not that bad once you know his gimmick. In the next chapter I make short work of the mecha flame leos because I know their gimmick
