Thank you for vocalising your anger at Mel's passing. That has been my reaction also. Angry for her children and husband who she was taken from, anger for the bright future that she was robbed of, the birthdays and Christmases, the milestones, angry that what little time she had was spent in so much pain. The world needs more people like Mel, not less. I just can't make sense of it. I'm sorry you were unwell also and I am glad your friend's father is feeling better. I think Wayne Goss said it best, "getting older is a priviledge".

While I am mostly feeling incredible sadness rather than anger at Mel’s passing, I still struggle to accept what happened and every day I am kind of still waiting for an upload of one her videos that can confirm that her death is just a prank gone on for too long.😞

I'm glad I'm not the only one who felt that way. After I finally could even believe that it was true (at first I thought her account was hacked) I could only think so angrily about how unfair this was. Why? It made me really upset. Still get upset thinking about it. I spend a lot of time being really anxious and panicking about how I'm closer to 30 than I am to 20, but the way Wayne Goss said it made me really rethink why I am so anxious about getting old.

I love Neil Degrasse Tyson’s take on death. If we were able to live forever there would be no reason to get up every day and work towards dreams, goals, and accomplishments. It’s because we know at some point we are going to die we are driven to try and live our best lives. I found it quite inspirational.

Good afternoon my friend 🥰. This last two years have been filled with just unthinkable trauma. I felt all of your pain and just wanted to give you a virtual hug. With Mel passing away so young and leaving behind kids and a family hit me hard. You are so right about life being short. I’m so glad that your friends dad is doing well. It must felt so good to have your friend come over and just hang. Miss butters must of loved all the attention. She looked extra adorable in this vlog. Those towels looked yummy and I need some new one, mine are old and stiff now. I will donate the old ones to the vets office. I love the new table and those chairs are fantastic!! Mel is and will always be missed, not just for her valuable content, but her sweet personality. May God ease her family’s pain, as well as anyone and everyone who has felt the void she left behind. It saddens me to think of how her children are doing without their mother. I can’t help but remember all the rude and ruthless comments made on some videos, where I would feel the urge to slap some people silly. I wonder how they feel now! Are they feeling any kind of regret? People need to be kinder to each other and stop hurting others’ feelings. They need to stop bullying! In this case, how do they say they’re sorry? I miss Mel so much, as I used to look forward to watching her just minutes after she’d upload her videos! It’s sad she’s not here, but it’s beautiful to see how many people love her and how she’s been a wonderful friend to so many people. That is a great blessing!

I’m so glad you talked about your eye doctor experience. I actually work for my father, who is a really great, thorough, approachable optometrist. I’m his optical tech so I run all the tests you do before you actually see the doctor. I can’t tell you how many patients get straight up annoyed with the prescreening, like the vision field test where you click the button. I’m really glad to hear your doctor is working with you on finding that perfect correction. Most patients just want to magically be able to see perfectly and don’t understand that you may have to give up something, like the far vision in exchange for not having to wear readers or visa versa. This is such a silly thing to leave a comment about but I adore you and it made me appreciate your view (ha!) on something I deal with every day. 🙌🏻

Epley maneuver. Look into this. Depending on what kind of vertigo it is, this can help. It is a simple set of maneuvers that my husband learned from watching videos and it really works for me. A therapist can do it of course, but it’s not hard to catch on. I’ve had vertigo many times snd this has really saved me.

Thank you for expressing your feelings to us. I love how you keep it real on your channel. My heart goes out to Puffin and her children. I also suffer with vertigo. I find doing the exercises that my chiropractor gave me really helps when having an episode. Look up the epley maneuver and the half somersault or foster maneuver. I use both when needed. Basically it is when the "crystals" in your inner ear get out of place. My last episode was after a sinus infection. I hope this helps.

I, too, suffer from vertigo with allergies and stress being instigators. I have to agree that the last 2 years have been terrible. I’m a psychiatric nurse and have continued to work but it has been extremely stressful. Just recently I have lost my dearest, oldest friend suddenly, have multiple friends going through chemotherapy due to cancer and my sister’s husband had to have both shoulders replaced due to a sudden intense seizure. And then Mel’s passing…. Oh my, when it rains it pours. Take care of yourself and be kind. No one else can or will be able to take care of you but you. -I’m taking some time off from work this month to see autumn leaves and hoping that it refreshes me. So glad your girlfriends came to visit. Sometimes being with wonderful friends can be so renewing. -I love your new tables and chairs! Adore your butler’s pantry.

Please don’t throw towels away, they have a long lifecycle even with a few holes or strings hanging. We don’t need more stuff in the landfill. I use my old towels for cleaning and spills. I also use them for wrapping breakable items when moving, and they can be cut up and used for storing glass Christmas ornaments. Dog shelters need towels for bedding and cleaning and will often take used ones. There are just so many secondary uses for towels.

Hi Michelle I have been suffering from Vertigo for many years. Initially it was so bad I could don't get out of bed, was like drunk, bouncing off the walls. My neurologist
did EPLEY manoeuvre and I got an e-book explaining how to do it at home. This was the first and most important thing to tackle. My husband did it on me - it is easy really. Vertigo is triggered by movements of crystals in your middle ear, which send wrong signals to a very tiny nerves saying - you re falling.. but you are not. The second thing it was a Cours eof tablets called Betahistine - you have to take a course for about 4-6 months, then you see the results. Then things got easier. I still get some spells of vertigo especially at hairdressers or at he dentist when getting up but these two things saved me from misery and I can live with Vertigo quite happily! Give me a shout if you need more tips! xx

I haven’t quite finished you video, maybe 11 mins left, but just wanted to suggest checking your blood pressure if you haven’t already. Stress can compound blood pressure exponentially, making your head feel like it’s going to pop & make you have feelings of lightheadedness &/or vertigo. It sounds like you are on top of what’s going on but I had to make the suggestion. My blood pressure kept creeping up over a years time & one day I had a major fight/screaming match with my brother (the only one we have ever had) & I ended up having 2 strokes. Now it turned out I had SLE Lupus & a clotting disorder that were both previously undiagnosed but it is amazing what stress can do to the body & we all just want you & everyone to be healthy & safe!! Hope you feel better & thank you for a great entertaining video!!!! ❤️🤗

@@lisapeterson8929 Hello. I’m So sorry to hear of your husbands diagnosis!! We always say Thank God we have our health but we never really appreciate it until we no longer do. I have Antiphospholipid Cardiolipin Syndrome so my own body is attacking my blood & causing clots. I thought factor IV had to do with Hemophilia but I have no idea what happens if you have IV & V together. I am so sorry! Personally I had to find a very good Hemotologist.. & you should probably too if you haven’t already & if you are not satisfied with one you can always find another, you need to be very comfortable with this person. I have been on Heparin and Coumadin in the past and for quite a few years now I have been on Lovenox injections twice daily which seems to keep the best balance for me and does not.. at least for me.. require the weekly blood tests that other meds need. We definitely have two different diseases but I am here if there is anything I can help with or any questions I can answer. I have been been sick for over 15 years now & understand how hard it is. Especially in the beginning to know what to do or expect or how to just hold things together. You might need to be an advocate for your husband too if he is too sick to handle things for himself at times & especially organizing everything in the beginning. I hope you both have some support to make things easier at this hard, confusing time. Contact me if I can help in anyway... I can send you my email if it’s easier. My prayers are with you both & your families. Best wishes!!! ❤️🤗

Vertigo can be triggered by perimenopausal hormonal imbalances also--due to severe stress, frustrations, and anger in your life. I know better now (recently in menopause) after all of my research and work with a few acupuncturists. Just a suggestion.

This may sound silly, but it’s such a terrible thing that, sooner or later, everyone will pass and the anguish of knowing that we will experience loss and the only way to deal with that reality, as we grow wiser, is to become more stoic each day it’s just the saddest thing. I wish we could just feel safe 😣

My grandmother died last week, and her husband and adopted beloved grandfather died two months before her, too (his kids hate us for some reason and are kicking all of my grandmas stuff out and my mom out of the apartment when the funeral hasn’t even happened yet so that’s made me want to fight instead of cry lol), my personal medical stuff has been a rollercoaster (cue constant sobbing at every single medical appointment), and I realized just how completely profoundly ostracized I have become from normal society. I live what Puffin has in front of him. My husband died suddenly, leaving me & our 5 kids. Now, this horrific hell, is the easiest part. He's in shock & the brain protects us. It kills me knowing what they have in front of them. Every aspect of his life, big & small, has been shattered. All in his life, past, present & future, is now covered in pain. I have been loading "Watch Later" folder with Mel's videos on all devices on different accounts, letting them play as we sleep to help increase ad revenue. Even my 3 teen boys are doing that on their phones & tablets for them each night because they know this hell, and losing one income on top of that is just extra burden when you can barely stand as it is.

Truly shocking and sad with what happened to Mel. She was the reason I learned about the amazing artist Wayne Goss because I didn’t who who he was. Aww Miss Butters melts my heart. Such a sweet baby girl. I’ve had Vertigo once many years ago. It’s horrible and truly unpleasant experience. It was due to stress. So yes, stress plays a huge part in triggering the vertigo. This was back in 1993. That was the first and last time I’ve ever experienced vertigo. I don’t wish that on anybody. And glasses oh girl, I cannot live without my reading glasses. I have pretty good vision as far sight wise and everything else. But when it comes to reading Ahh forget about it! Thank you for reminding me I need to go for eye appointment.

Not sure if you've deal with TMJ issues. If so, it might be contributing to your vertigo, especially during times of stress. Clenching the jaw or grinding the teeth can cause swelling in muscles and joints around your ear. I used to struggle with vertigo and after I got a custom made well fitting professionally monitored night guard, I felt relief from both vertigo and migraines.

Thank you for acknowledging Mel. It’s unbelievable sad even thinking about it. As for your vertigo, most of the times it’s caused the the dislodged crystals in your ear (calcium carbonate crystals). They’re basically floating around. There are home remedies of positioning that will realign them, but I would recommend going to an ENT doctor to have them do it for you. Both my aunt & dad had severe episodes of vertigo to the point that they went to that ER. Hope this helps.

I definitely could relate to the Vertigo. My first Vertigo episode happened when I had to fly home cause my dad was sick. I didn't know what was wrong with me or what was going on. So when I got to my destination I went straight to the ER. I could barely walk through the airport. The ER had told me I had Vertigo due to stress. Also I found out there are certain triggers too. When I get Vertigo I'm out of work for a week, which is not fun. I've since learned more about the triggers and pay more attention and treat the nausea and spinning with medicine if needed. Love the wreath and your dining room table choice. 😊 Thanks for sharing your morning skin care routine cause your skin looks fabulous!

so sorry about your vertigo, I've had it and it's terrible. For me, dehydration, even a glass of wine at dinner the night before, or maybe not drinking enough water due to work/stress, definitely are tiggers. That "cloud" water has helped, I'm in hot and muggy FL so dehydration is constant! My father had it and went to the ENT and they do this quirky maneuver--I forget the name--and it worked, or he would have needed physical therapy. Best of luck with this issue!!
