Hey man I am thinking about buying a used m340i 2020! How has it been reliability wise that is the one thing I am concerned about. I heard the b58 is really reliable. Has your car been really expensive to maintain?
The B58 is a reliable motor…. However, with that said, it’s not Honda Civic cost of maintenance. Additionally, when dealing with a car of this performance, a higher frequency of maintenance and vigilance is needed (ie. Oil change at 3-5k, checking coolant level, etc)

My car specifically no issues at all. It has been extremely reliable even though I was driving really hard. Make sure to get a 2020 because it pops much louder and it doesn't have the electric motor.
The M340i is extremely reliable. Same exact drivetrain that’s in the Supra, and Toyota isn’t going to risk putting an unreliable drivetrain in their car. My M340i has been great, I highly recommend it.
BMW B58 is one of the best engines ever created. You can do so little to extract so much power to these engines. Best inline six engine currently on the market.
Such a nice car, it's a shame he drives it like an absolute jackass. No signals, obnoxious "drifting", rolling stops, etc., plus on a public road, not a racetrack. (Hate to be this guy, but seriously)??! Could have at least found an empty parking lot to goon out in.

No. Only M cars come with a true LSD. The m340i comes with an open E-diff
