Just received ours, and extremely surprised to see that Nintendo decided to not seal the boxes!!! I cannot recall, ever buying a video game console, that wasn't sealed! For an expensive piece of hardware not to be sealed, begs the obvious question......what was Nintendo thinking?!!
Nintendo has never sealed them. It's not a huge issue tbh. It's not like a food/drug product where you want to want to be sure nothing else has slipped in
Why do you want more plastic waste in the ocean? Uneducated comment like the other guy said it’s not a food item. The more cardboard packaging the better. You need to get a job at Amazon or a packing job. Then you will understand the scale of plastic waste. Watch Simon Reeves documentary 👍🏽

Haha yes that happens with the originals Switch too. Sometimes I press the button, nothing happens and I'm like "I freaking pressed the button I'm not crazy!" 😂
