Dude Reece Oxford from West Ham is an absolute beast. Really recommend for anyone, and he's under 5 mil and gets up to like 87 or 88 overall. Really tall too.

Just get someone with decent pace, 75+, at CB for around 500k to 1.5mil and improve him with training. I got Willis (I can't remeber where I bought him from) for 650k and he's worked great in League 2, League 1, Championship and PL. Anyone with 85+ pace would be good for full back, with the same price range.
Pace isn't as important in midfield so you can pick a mixed player. For the lower leagues to about bottom half of the PL, I used Stevenson. He has decent pace and technical ability. If you train him he'll be good for you. The price range for midfielders should be a bit higher.
Up front I bought a cheap option of Moha for 850k. Decent pace, strength and technical ability. Walker from Forest is decent. The lad from Portsmouth seems good on paper but I haven't played with him yet. Depending on your wages, you should always try and get a great youngster from the PL on loan or permanent.
To save money in the future get yourself an youth team scout. You don't have to get an expensive one, I had the average one at first and he still got me some decent players.

Yeah, I agree with the other lads, start with a lower league team. I'm busy with a Blackpool career mode. I took them from League 2 - I was so surprised to see that they dropped so far - to the PL. Won L2, 2nd L1, won the Championship.
It was refreshing going from buying Dybala to a random guy from who knows where.

also love your videos, you should do a players under the radar video. there are some really good players like bryan dabo, schmiedebach from sttugart. they are like 75/76 rated but holy shit they are some of those in game beasts. also turkish cm okay yokuslu, really good player and grows well.

i think traits automatically come if you do certain things with a player constantly. For example, always doing long passes and that swerve pass:) and yeah bro i know what you mean, thats why i've got a hidden gem series on my channel and i might try out these players more and maybe include them!:D. Also, everyone loves milan ;) and ikr!, but thanks for your comment and im glad this video helped!:)
I think Renato Tapia should get a mention. Young, all his stats are basically 60's and above, a great Box to box midfielder.

I got donnarumma on trabzonspor and he got 0 clean sheets 60-70 goals conceded and finished the league 8th (objective was 4)

Remember the initial values shown are "Base Values" and are not how much you can get the players for as an exact amount. Example of that is Matiello and Elvedi, both are less than £3 mil but if you can't/don't get them within the first transfer window their values will rocket up and in some instances their value will be above £5 mil.
you can still get them cheap if you play your cards right :D
