Thanks Herr Steve R. airing and sharing the outstanding video with magnificent eclectic sound textures of Ambient.Since late 90's still ' mesmerizing ' in your music repertoire ,even at Internet streaming Radio channels known as SomaFM . Endeavours are preponderance.Bliss
Thank you for using your 'Skeleton Keys' to open a portal to 'The Only Way In' to another dimension of cosmic listening. I believe this particular song is in 7/8. Molecules of Motion, Skeleton Keys, and Empetus are some my favorites! I would love to hear a lecture or interview someday about Steve's 'Skeleton Keys' analogue sequencer technique.
Timeless music Steve, I've been listening to your music since the 80's and it's nice to see you see the feedback your listeners can provide. We love every note of your music!
came here from Bandcamp. don't know if you meant to link the vid so it started at 31:45 instead of at 0:00 so just pointing it out. wild to just see you at the controls like this
Thank you! No question about that! the power of the iPad... We all have our path and passion, mine is hardware gear and the pure visceral power of analog at concert volume! :))
Thank you for releasing this Steve. It’s always a gift for me personally when you put our something. Wish that one day I could jam with you. Best wishes! ✌🏼
This was so wonderful. Amazing, vibrant music. Raw even, what a joy to watch. I hope that someday we get an actual live stream, but if not, this is the next best thing! Thank you for sharing!
Wowza - what a fantastic set! The section after 29:00 especially was breathtaking and gave me chills 😊Thanks Steve for sending this out - can't wait for the Bandcamp release!
As always, great music, but the sound quality leaves much to be desired. Can't they record directly from the instruments, like they did in the 1980s? Looking forward to the next track in studio quality.
Thanks Tom, as i mention in the notes it was a last minute idea to stream it quickly, I felt like this artifact of the moment was still worth putting up, The high rez audio release will be at Bandcamp in the coming months. all the best!
This is the one artist and performer that makes me jones, really bad, for an overhead or closeup shot of the knobs, buttons and sliders being knobbed, buttoned and slid. One of my all time favorites, for decades now. So good.
Hi, Steve. I still have all your CDs even though I have pretty much gotten away from physical media. I bought a Beatstep Pro, which is the most fully-feature sequencer I've ever read about. It will take months to learn my way around it. What are you using?
Life time user of the Doepfer MAQ 16 and in the modular rig is a Moon analog sequencer, a favorite along with the MAQ. I have the beat step pro and not had the time to dive in but its has dedicated knobs for each step which I love.
I really enjoy your music however I would prefer to experience it with some projected visuals or even a 1960s Fillmore West type light show of Ai images generated by the music ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I mention in the notes it was a last minute idea to stream it quickly, I felt like this video artifact of the moment was still worth putting up, The high rez 24 96 audio release will be at Bandcamp in the coming months. all the best!

Do you use any looper to do this?
There was Eventide TImefactor in loop mode towards the end... the high sparkling sounds..

Playing Ambient Music (!) in mono?!
Humans have only two ears to fill the Ambience. But now we've lost that ability. Why Steve?
