What a solid way to support the community not wanting to spend $250 on an arc tomorrow. I love my Garage 005 but I do understand $200+ is too high of a bar for most.
I am really happy you mentioned the Roxon Phantom! I don’t have the money for multi tools but a family member offered to get me a budget friendly tool of my choice for my birthday and after literally 2 months of research I got the Phantom. I use it all the time and it’s amazing. The pliers maybe not be hearty enough for everyone’s needs but they are more than enough for mine. I use the scissors all the time - easily one of my favorite parts. The tanto blade is surprisingly good and also gets tons of use. And the saw is also surprisingly good and has gotten some use. I haven’t used the screwdriver a ton, but it gets the job done when I have. The awl is also useful for awl-y things when I occasionally need it. Between the scissors, knife, and pliers I think the tool is easily worth it’s cost - if those are the things that matter to you at least. Thank you for the great video! 💜
Late comment, but I've been carrying the SOG PowerPint for about 5 years. It's one of the smallest multi-tools i have, except maybe the leatherman micra, maybe? And that is a scissors tool, not a plier. Either way, you will almost forget it is in your pocket. They pretty much have a full capacity plier/cutter head, with compound leverage. The pliers' capacity is the same as much larger multis, with narrower jaw dimensions. It's become the most used multi-tool for me these days. My king sized Powerlock stays in my work bag now, not on my belt. My two cent opinion says, buy one. You will see what I mean. KK
I saw your review on the daicamping DL30 and decided to get one and I want to thank you very much for bringing it to my attention. 30mins after receiving it I ordered a 2nd one for my son for xmas. it is truly awesome. I have a Leatherman Surge Black Ninja edition that i carried for 8yrs and this one is going to be my preferred edc simply because of the screwdriver bits. we will see how it lasts in the long run but it looks and feels great and I could buy 6 of them for what my Surge cost. (no exaggeration)
Spare one for the glove box, spare one for the garage, spare one for the emergency kit... there's a lot of good use cases for a cheap-but-competent spare multi-tool stashed here or there, even if you have your higher-quality Regular.
I personally think the best budget multi tool is picking up a Leatherman on the secondhand market. That’s how I’ve gotten most of mine. I just recently picked up a Rebar and Mini Tool in like new condition for $65 at a local flea market.
I work as a firefighter. I just got a SOG Powerpint after years of carrying a Leatherman. I weat my tool so the pocket clip sits outside my left pants pocket while the tool suts inside of the pocket. I like that as I have nothing dangling outside my pockets when I have to put my gear on, climb, or go through narrow spaces. The tool is so light that I barely even notice it on me. The pliers are very functional. This is a great option for me to have on medical calls (can turn on oxygen cylinders if the oxygen bottle wrench is lost or broken). This tool can also do a good enough job tweaking some of our gas-powered tools on our trucks if needed. Is the Powerpint the greatest multi-tool of all time? No. However, it packs a lot of bang for the buck.
I love my Multiforce and I have a $20 BIBURY, but I don't like how they don't have detents to lock the handles for when the wire coating gets jammed and you open it and the handles fold. SOG has the compound leverage system instead of the detents, which solves that issue that way. It doesn't happen often but it is a little annoying. For the most part I only notice this issue when old electrical tape leaves the wire sticky and you have to cut the wire end off. That being said, those cheaper multitools are alot of value for the money and I used them alot and will continue to use them. Awesome list and video. 😀
I got the Ozark Trails 15 in 1 really heavy metal one for $14.00 the other day. Might not make it anymore. Beefy pliers. Good for outdoor use. I like it better than the Multiforce for some uses.
I WATCH A REVIEW ON THE ROXON 803 THAT YOU DID. I BOUGHT IT AND LOVE IT. IT'S MY M-F EDC. THE ONE GREAT THING ABOUT IT THE BLADE IS RAZOR SHARP FROM THE GET GO. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS ONE.
Great Line Up! Got away from Multitools when I started working on our properties and carrying a tool bag. Recently I started carrying a shoulder bag and have been wanting to add a small selection of tools. I’m going to buy the Bibury 19 in 1 to see how it works for me.
I own the Wave Clone from Bibury (Bibury 19-in-1) and I'm more than happy with this tool. It helped me quite often since I purchased it and I would recommend and buy it again if I ever lose my Bibury.
My dad wants the Surge clone, BIBURY, since it's cheap, but he can use it to cut roots out of the garden and other backyard tasks. He does have a Leatherman, but refuses to use it like this. This is why I like a cheap multitool as well, but I never thought about cutting roots. I usually grab a axe for that. 😅
This is FANTASTIC! I lose knives all the time, so budget is a major consideration for an EDC multi-tool. I'm going to watch this through a couple times, pick out a few tools, then watch their dedicated reviews. One (or more) of these will be coming home with me in the near future. Thanks!
@@maxlvledc Oops, after much deliberation (and failing to see your response), I just bought the Powerpint and Bibury HD, lol. I believe they each fit a use case. If the HD holds up decently, I'll likely also get the Bibury 21-in-1 (outdoor). I have a use case for that one as well. I'll still watch your value guide though!
On my daicamping dl30, one of the wire cutters had the screw fall out, so I'd recommend adding some blue thread locker to it to keep the wire cutters in place. Other than that, it's a good tool.
I had the same thing happen on my Leatherman Surge. I lost a blade and screw and had to call Leatherman to get a replacement because the replacement blade kit was not available to customers in Canada. they sent me 1 set as a courtesy and said it was a one-time thing. basically don't ask again. so I was pleasantly surprised when i received my daicamping DL30 and it came with a spare set of cutters and tool to remove them!
My personal favorite multi tool is the Gerber Armbar Drive (Slim or non). I had the slim and lost it and then purchased the non slime. I just love it for the size and having just the tools I like without anything I do not need. The slim is slightly more streamline.
I carry a victorinox ranger and a mini vice-grip(if you are rich you can carry the crunch) coupled with a reciprocating saw blade pair(metal+wood). However, vic craftsman may be a better choice due to the small pliers. At first glance these pliers look rubbish. However, its tips meet perfectly and is more robust than the style of mini pliers in nextool mini sailor(and many other models). I find many times where I need an extremely powerful pair of tweezers, yet not needing the the robustness of a needlenose. A note is that I modified the victorinox tweezers to be perfect: I put a piece of sand paper in the jaw and move it to grind one side. Flip the sand paper in short intervals to alternately grind the sides until the tweezers meet at the tip. This, however, dramaticlly increases the surface area that the tweezers pinches, and you will be tempted to push harder because the lack of pressure and friction. This will cause the metal to bend and the tips to spread. To conpensate for this, take a coarse sand paper piece and hold it in the tweezers, move it in direction parallel to the tweezer to create micro "teeth" that grips because of increased friction and decreased surface area. Be sure to not use force though, as the tips will seperate and not hold, a light grip will easily remove hair from your arm if you modified it correctly. This modified tweezers saved me countless times when i need to grip and remove with great precision. Upon seeing the modification of making a slot in vice-grips on your channel, I came up with a very good idea. There is a product called "speedy sticher"(old american brand) that is a heavy fabric stiching awl with auto thread-feeding. This feature a special needle/awl thingy that has a channel(slit) along it the thread passes through when held in a chuck. I figured that I would have a field expedient speedy sticher if i hold that needle in the modified vice grip, with the channel facing the "pin vice" so the thread can flow. Then I will attach a spool of thread to the tensioning bolt via some industrial linking piece. I thought of this because I was thinking of making a " modular mininalistic yet functional kit" that would allow me to produce stuff out of the material i come by(I intend to use it in my travels). I already have "tiny kit for utilizing tin cans", "micro kit for manufacturing woodcraft tools with scrap wood i find", "minimal rigging kit", "small supplies for making packframes and carry-ons", "general tool kit", "mini adhesive, hose clamp, fastener and zipties kit for personal repairs", "pocket hygeine and odd matters kit for common disconfort", "compact pvc tubular unit capable of forming into bucksaw, quick stool, shelfed pack frame, and small tripod". I was developing "cloth material utilization kit" and wanted to include a speedy-sticher for making things like ponchos from canvass or wool wears from old blankets
I agree about the Vic 91mm pliers being more robust than the folding pliers on tools like the LM Squirt, or Nextool Flagship Mini. The reason is that there's no articulation between the head and handles, it literally is a small pair of contiguously made pliers, sticking out of the SAK. Folding multitool pliers are only ever as strong as the join between handle and head. Furthermore it sits better in your hand than something like the Squirt, giving you more control, reach and leverage. I have the Swisschamp in my rotation and it's great. The Craftsman is discontinued and although the Handyman - same as Craftsman but with backtool PHillips instead of corkscrew - did appeal to me, I really like the inline Phillips on the Champ.
I bought the Daicamping DL-30 based upon your recommendation, & I wasn't disappointed. I appreciate the effort you've put into this series, I really like it.
This randomly popped up. This is great as I'm putting together a cheap as possible motorcycle toolset for on the go. The stuff you shouldn't worry about if it gets stolen. Just ordered the daicamping DL1.
I have mixed feelings about the Sog Powerpint. It has good pliers, but the rest of the tools are not up to par: The knife needs to be sharpened, the bottle opener needs to be modified to have a flat screwdriver, the hook needs to be sharpened, the scissors don't cut well, the file on some units it does nothing, etc. I think it's only worth it because there aren't any more pliers-based multitools of that size. I want to love it because is the only multitool that you can modify easily for a lefty. I think a 91mm Victorinox with a Knippex Cobra is a better option.
You know how much I support leatherman in a few last years (go USA!) But. Speaking of the comments. So we all anticipating the Arc release tomorrow and all that hype, you know. I have to say that I have garage 005 and really liked it when I got it. When I've learned about the arc I decided to skip on it mostly bc it has no spring loaded pliers. So, I get emails from LM and so when it got on their website I commented one of the first. I said hey good tool indeed but I want spring loaded pliers on it. That's all I said. Nothing to crazy. Then it asks for your email and sends confirmation. I got emailed and confirmed that me is me. That was like what 4-5 days ago guess what. My freaking commented is still not there. Well one could say what's the big deal. However I believe that transparency is key in today's world. Now not only I doubt that I will buy arc when it comes out but might not support lm as much as I want to. So..now you know. I assume if they see negative comments they just don't post them...
Funny thing is I am back to having the genuine Surge in my EDC+ bag for no nonsense getting things done, plus accessories. So it’s hard to argue with the toolset for under a Benjamin.
I like the Roxon phantom myself, fits good in the hand and allows me to have the boxcutter blade instead of the knife....living in CA it is better to have a CA legal blade in there.
I'm going to get one of these for my mom. She used to have one that she got gifted a long time ago that she really loved, but it was stolen out of her car when she dropped it off at the mechanic. I'll save up for the Surge clone I think, it seems to have the most robust toolset, and she liked to keep it in the door of her car, so it wont be too big for her.
What you said about having one in different locations is exactly the same reason i love these cheaper clones. I have 3 bibury surge clones. One is in my gun range bag, one in my work bag, and the 3rd stays in my car.
Great list, diacamping DL30 is a great option. I modified my surge before the DL30 came out. My surge was broken , scissors didn't lock (wasn't impressed with the surge scissors anyway) cutters broke. Was looking for replacement parts for the surge when I found the DL30. The cost of the DL30 was less that the repair on my surge was going to be. Plus it came with extra cutters. I've been very happy with it. Not only can I repair it for less but can also replace it for less. Added two 6mm magnets to the bit driver and devised a compact standard 1/4" 40 bit carry. That and some other goodies are on my belt under my shirt at work. (Working in hotel maintenance). My goal is to be able to enter a room and be able to fix most everything with what I have on me. Especially when the guest is the room and I don't want them to have to try to enjoy their stay with a maintenance guy in there making allot of noise. Don't make allot of money. The DL30 is perfect. Often I'll carry two multi tools as they are always in competition. The goat is really shining bright as well as I work through find tuning it.
@@maxlvledc so many wow moments with the goat. The initial tool options and modularity have already made it one of those tools that make it feel like I'm missing something if it's not on my belt when heading to work. Basic tools striking end, 1/4" driver, medium flat, large flat, awl, scissors, serrated & standard blades, saw. Meet or exceed the potential of most multi tools right out the gate. Then the added exacto had been a huge plus. Very much appreciated platform. All we have to do is wait for the new inserts. A t-shank, diamond file, different blade styles, blanks to make the perfect awl or other tools, how about a gut hook, diamond file, serrated blade? And it's removable to sharpen your custom chisel. The potentiallys make my head spin. This tool is going to unfold into a whole new dimension awesome. 3d print scales that hold extra exacto blades. I could go on for hours. Yes the cutters were a problem, yes it's tricky to get just right. But you know all multi tools are tricky to get just right, people just aren't used to having to tweek there tool like is modders. Oh quick tip use a T9 not a 2mm hex to work with the pivot screws, screws are too soft. Anyway, I ask people to support the goat tool project and to be pro innovation, figure it out improve it, and let the wows roll. I have faith in a team with the guts to make a tool like the goat tool. I'll find your email to update you
Can you share the 40 bit carry setup? I just got the bibury surge clone and will be getting a edc setup to replace my wave+ but will continue to carry the flat bits as I need all the options.
There is too few companies who innovate. Some new features came after you did this vid. But it still relevant today. Many big companies improve the classic designs. But small companies do add new features like modularity, pliers/big scissors combo, electric bit driver, etc
It’s interest you prefer the bibury without replaceable wire cutters. It seems like the steel would be harder on some Leatherman branded wire cutters that they accept.
just got a powerpint and love the toolset for the size its quite impressive... my only knock is that the tools on the scissor side are much harder to open than the other side. but maybe once it breaks in it will loosen up ? i really did like this list though gets some people in the door without breaking the bank.
I would really love one of these for work because I work in a corrosive environment and it can ruin tools. I kinda ruined an older Wave so I still carry it at work. Also, the SOG powerpint is the only one I carry outside of work because of its size and weight. Love it
I have a Leatherman Wave that I've carried for years and I know the anxiety of knowing you may have lost it. That Bibury may become my new best friend and the Wave can ride in the car, lol.
My biggest gripe about Leatherman is hand pinch. Every time I use my wave I get pinched. Always collecting multitools. Just bought Harborfreight's Gordon multitool, I'm pretty impressed with it. I do like the ones with fire starter, whistle.
Biggest thing about these budget multitools is. They do everything a leather man does and if you lose it your not devastated. I can’t even carry my Leatherman for that fear alone. It sits in my car. I’m buying a budget on payday. Thanks for this list!!!
Holy heck, thirdsies!! I love discussing tools of the budget variety, the mid level variety, the high end way too expensive stuff, tools in general give me a tool boner.
Great selection of multitools for mods. The SOG pint caught our eye, could do wonders with those pivot gears. Thinking maybe implementing it to our next project, an insulated multitool which includes a laser that can measure distances & temperatures, flashlight etc. We always get some light bulb moment watching your show. Have you ever thought of doing a test on multitools in the fields? Like in the woods in a camping, trekking or survival situation? Cheers mate from Australia.
I like the out of the box thinking on that first one but it seems to be one of the times where having the two items be separate would be better than having them together. The way they mounted the blade really hurts it usefulness because the plier head would get in the way of cutting. IF the blade would have been mounted to where the blade would open the other way and when opened the plier head would be pointed down, that would go a long way.
I never knew that is what it's called (I am used to it being called a pruning blade, sometimes a gypsum blade), but I had already given up on that. Finding that on the Roxon was nearly enough to convince me to get it. I have some serious doubts about the durability of the exchange mechanism though, so I am holding off for a bit....
@@user-zh4vo1kw1z see that makes me think of reciprocating tool blades. I work in telecom, so we use two, the electricians blade and cable splicer. The electricians blade is like a hawk bill style blade like shown in the video. The cable splicer kind of looks like a barber straight razor with a heavy duty handle.
@@sammyg.3604 I understand. And we do mean the same thing. Trust me its odd to me as well: I'm an arborist by trade and I know no one who uses it to prune. I think it's an imported term from more horticulture amd fruit growing trades. Victorinox has a comparable, but slimmer blade on their gardener, though they call it a grafting blade. I think many trades have a similar knife style (my sister knows it as a hoof cutter for sheep), it's just which one happens to percolate to the mainstream vocabulary
@@user-zh4vo1kw1z Hey, that's actually really cool and it's nice to know. I've had that happen in Sweden when working on Satellites there. Knives from here in the states are very different than there, when talking to co-workers in Sweden.
@@sammyg.3604 part of my fascination with knives is that it can tell you SO much about a culture or place. And sometimes, there's just the sheer randomness of it all. Like how the bee is the symbol of the Laguiole knives cuz it just is. (The best explanation I ever found was "they had to inscribe the locking latch with SOMETHING" or "perhaps they just liked bees")
DONT BUY THE DAICAMPING WAVE CLONE. The one i bought, the scissors broke after one use cutting a piece of twine that was about half a mm thick. I then proceeded to have over a week of back and forth with the seller for a refund before ali express stepped in and gave the full refund.
@@maxlvledc I was just too tempted by the big Scissors I the smaller form. I already have the surge clone from bibury and am really pleased with it! Keep up the good work!
I really was hoping to see the True Titanium here. Would seem right up the alley and I have been considering it as an office EDC, as an alternative to a Skeletool. I get looks when I play with my wave (really not a knife culture there), but the Skeletool has some major shortcomings imo. And the bright red handle has that same vibe Victorinox can have: it diffuses that "woah, your carrying a weapon!!!" impression. So since it is only for desk days when I wont need a robust tool it felt kinda appropriate. Owh well, guess I'll just have to nag on every multitool review put on the channel.
@@maxlvledc I am skeptical too, but I had a quick look and the only reviews are... Not too trustworthy. Or dismiss it out of hand cuz of the price. So I am interested in your take! Though I don't always agree, it is always on personal preference and taste, never on the actual statements. This is one of the rare channels that appreciates brand and/or quality, but doesn't navel gaze on it. Or, coming from the other side: appreciates the pragmatic value of budget tools without ignoring that they still need to be useful and only allows price to excuse a limited amount of shoddy quality.
I couldn't tell from the video and you didn't mention one way or the other. On the knock off leatherman wave version's, do the internal tools lock open? It didn't look like it in the video.
Can you recommend any good ways/tools to use for cleaning my multi tool, I have a leather man wave and use it daily but it’s started getting gunked up, I clean it with a old toothbrush and that just moves the dirt.
I was looking for the dual head Swiss tech the one with the wire strippers , do you have a number or search description? I have looked on Alli express and cannot find Love the channel
My DL30 has a major issue with the main blade where there a lot of resistance at the pivot and it's impossible to open, but if I loosen the screw slightly it has tons of blade play. None of the other tools on it have this issue. Very sad I got a poor quality one.

I can vouch for Roxon's stuff. Having actually good full size scissors in a multi tool is really underrated

AS USUAL, FANTASTIC LIST OF BUDGET MULTI-TOOLS. THANK YOU!
Thanks!
You may want to wait, I have a value guide on these coming out next week.
The slim is slightly more streamline.
i own SQT-mq21(wave clone) and it's my first time to have a multi tool cannot afford a leatherman. it's very very useful.
I appreciate the effort you've put into this series, I really like it.
same here. i second that notion.
I just bought one too but waiting for delivery
Rocktol sk05 29-1 baby!
Ordered my (upgraded =better than) surge clone. $50 !!!!!
Takes ball-detent (klein style) 1/4in bits.
5 yr warranty
(One review stated they broke the pliers! )
So it’s hard to argue with the toolset for under a Benjamin.
half a benjamin in fact. A Grant.
I'll save up for the Surge clone I think, it seems to have the most robust toolset, and she liked to keep it in the door of her car, so it wont be too big for her.
i carry a swiss style pocket knife everyday and i don't have much money but i want a needle nose multi tool
The goat is really shining bright as well as I work through find tuning it.
really??!?! liking the goat?? plz keep me updated on both! this is great info!
Thanks for this great review, a really nice selection of tools and with the budget in mind. And just in time because I’m building a new kit.
Interesting find, those Bybury multi tools. I definitely have to research those more. Thanks for the awesome video!!!
What an awesome video! Thanks for making a video for the budget-minded people. These are all great.
Beautiful country specially, with the leaves changing color
It's relatively easy to adjust also with a pair of torz
Thank you! These tools are probably better for me. I am not on a construction site.
Still using the bibury surge clone. Its been taking everything i throw at it at work. Think im gonna give a couple out for xmas
I would really love one of these for work because I work in a corrosive environment and it can ruin tools. I kinda ruined an older Wave so I still carry it at work. Also, the SOG powerpint is the only one I carry outside of work because of its size and weight. Love it
I've owned both the rev and bolster and preferred the rev but each their own
I have a Leatherman Wave that I've carried for years and I know the anxiety of knowing you may have lost it.
Wheres compared to gerber and clones.
ive owned half of these. of them, i miss my multiforce and roxon flash the most. ( gave em away as gifts, cuz everyone should carry a multi, dammit! )
GOt a few BiBurys and have just got my SIrge copy. Really like
I have the Ozark trail, and I like it more than my leathermans tbh, except the sheath sucks
Great roundup video. Totally agree with the top 2. Would love it it if they would do the DL1 with a T-Shank adapter.
Nice list! Surprised to see that nextool didn't make it. Really enjoyed edcing the mini flagship for about a year before the spring broke
the non-locking small tools kills them imo.
I have two of those cheap leathermens they work great and if I lost one sure I'd be upset but it won't cost over $100 to replace
Leatherman Juice XE6 when I got it on closeout for $40.
And if you order now !!! 😅😅😅😅 so hard picking out my first multi flipper tool but rokon or bilberry is on top so far thanks
I was wondering why the Gordon 20 in 1 multitool is not on this list from Harbor freight? Great multi tool! 39,99
I love the power pint! I'm on my second one because i lost my first one
I would want a Roxon Phantom with just the driver kit, scissors and the interchangable blades....probably at
Hi, I just purchased a SOG power pint fro Amazon Australia. My cost was AU$ 109.00
Hey Max, I’m in your neck of the woods right now in West Virginia and I’ll be heading out to Virginia. I’m on my way to the Carolinas.
Thank you for making these videos. Very informative and well thought out.
ROXON S502 looks nice, ordered one recently
I try but the busier I get..the less I get out to do that kind of thing...wish I had more time.
I've been looking into daily carrying a multitool but all of the ones I've seen were too bulky. The powerpint might just be exactly what I need.
This is an amazing channel! Thank You!
The Roxxon Phantom is pretty neat.
Hi, I was wondering. Between Bibury, Sog powerpint and Roxon S802 which do you choose?
I like the Gerber brand, quality without breaking the bank
I like the out of the box thinking on that first one but it seems to be one of the times where having the two items be separate would be better than having them together. The way they mounted the blade really hurts it usefulness because the plier head would get in the way of cutting. IF the blade would have been mounted to where the blade would open the other way and when opened the plier head would be pointed down, that would go a long way.
Agreed
In south africa, we have something called Terratac and it's super solid
I have been looking for an electricians blade for so long, and the scissors are huge compared to others.
I then proceeded to have over a week of back and forth with the seller for a refund before ali express stepped in and gave the full refund.
thats why I ALWAYS prefer amazon / bibury. their reputation for good customer service is key.
@@maxlvledc I was just too tempted by the big Scissors I the smaller form. I already have the surge clone from bibury and am really pleased with it! Keep up the good work!
Oh! New video! So exciting 💜
Idk im just one of those people that has to have American tools, although i do like the SOG, i wont do it, gotta be USA, but i love your videos.
You sold me on the Phantom... thank you
I would like to see some of these brands on store shelves
I really was hoping to see the True Titanium here.
Would seem right up the alley and I have been considering it as an office EDC, as an alternative to a Skeletool.
I get looks when I play with my wave (really not a knife culture there), but the Skeletool has some major shortcomings imo. And the bright red handle has that same vibe Victorinox can have: it diffuses that "woah, your carrying a weapon!!!" impression.
So since it is only for desk days when I wont need a robust tool it felt kinda appropriate.
Owh well, guess I'll just have to nag on every multitool review put on the channel.
I'm skeptical...but I will pick one up to check out.
Or, coming from the other side: appreciates the pragmatic value of budget tools without ignoring that they still need to be useful and only allows price to excuse a limited amount of shoddy quality.
rip Ozark Trail Multiforce, looks like it got taken off walmart online but YMMV in a local store in the outdoors section.
Where does someone get replacement cutters for the 19 in 1? Are they proprietary? Does it come with an extra set?
Most of my older knives are liner locks. Especially my older Kershaw knives.
I wonder why the medium and premium line from Leatherman doesn't have spring loaded
Hey man just letting you know I think you added a video to this playlist by accident?
@maxlvledc FYI your "Top EDC Gear" Playlist contains a misplaced video about a WW2 spylady :D
I couldn't tell from the video and you didn't mention one way or the other. On the knock off leatherman wave version's, do the internal tools lock open? It didn't look like it in the video.
They do 100%
Can you recommend any good ways/tools to use for cleaning my multi tool, I have a leather man wave and use it daily but it’s started getting gunked up, I clean it with a old toothbrush and that just moves the dirt.
I did a video on a maintenance kit a while back. may help

You might as well begin and end with the Daicamping DL30.
I would carry a biburry but never a leatherman after my current rebar; the price is to a point if its lost it would be horrid to replace.
I was looking for the dual head Swiss tech the one with the wire strippers , do you have a number or search description?
I have looked on Alli express and cannot find
Love the channel
No longer available..would never make top 10...to rikity
Thank you for yet another informative video. 🙂
For the bibury 19 in one where would someone buy the replacement cutters when they wear out?
Boker espacialist 2 and gadnic 14 in 1 are nice options
Bibury sounds good. But leatherman fan boy here would get a bolster if it was sold in uk. 👍
what about bond? its UK legal
My DL30 has a major issue with the main blade where there a lot of resistance at the pivot and it's impossible to open, but if I loosen the screw slightly it has tons of blade play. None of the other tools on it have this issue. Very sad I got a poor quality one.
I'm lucky because from amazon its really fast swap, the DAI camping one is a risk.
Well said max! The best!
Is there music emanating somewhere in that room or am I hearing things??
its a soft background track I add in post production. It does a good job of hiding the hum of the lighting fans.
If the power pint had a saw instead of the sweated blade it would be perfect
how good would a saw be of that length? I cant think of a single thing I'd want it for.
@@maxlvledc I edc one with a saw mainly for sticks to throw for the dogs but I’ve also cut plastic pipe for plumbing etc
what? no comments? First!!!
Haha
Flirted with the idea of getting a skeletool cx for like 3 years now. Can’t make myself pull the trigger
Perhaps you could find one secondhand ?
You like the combo blade ?
Take a look at the Havalon evolve
Interesting that you've not included any Nextool products. Is it by choice?
Yes, I like them..but the small implements are all afterthoughts. For this reason I believe the ones I included rank higher
leatherman wave+ at king of knives in Australia: $250. surge: $350
