Great review and a high quality production, your presention style makes your videos easy to watch. Future proofing is sorely overlooked by many people in tech industry. This video should have far more clicks than it does. I really like the way that you followed up in the comments area to answer people's question.. subscribed!
I bought the Zetta guard 5 way HDMI switch. when I plug in the device None of the lights go on. I've tried it on different outlets, same result. I plugged my Firestick into the back of the device and plugged in an HDMI extension from the Zetta to my TV still no power lights or input lights. My TV doesn't recognize that there is something plugged into the port. The Firestick works great when i plug it into the TV directly. It seems that I don't have power going into the Zetta. I sent one back and got a new one and just tried it and no luck. Its a simple device but i must be doing something wrong.
Hey Tech HD. Great review. I actually already bought this switcher prior to watching your review, but I came here looking for an answer for an issue I am having. I'm using the switch in video production between multiple cameras to be able to display them all on one monitor. The switcher works well for switching inputs between cameras, which is awesome, exactly what I needed! However, I haven't been able to get the PIP to work at all. Nothing happens when I press the PIP button. I am wondering if this is an issue with the monitor I am using (AOC 28'' 4K UHD) or the fact that the inputs are from cameras and not standard devices (xbox, blu-ray) or if I'm just not doing something properly. I'll probably run some more test on a different monitor, to rule that out. Or on the same monitor with different source media. In the meantime any suggestions or tips is appreciated. Thank you!
So taking a look at what you own, I doubt that the monitor that yo have would be the problem but you never know. I'm pretty sure it's because you have DSLR Cameras hooked up to it and not a regular source like you said but definitely test out a different monitor, HDMI to Mini HDMI Cables, etc. It could also be the remote, that could be faulty so if all fails then replace the remote.
Thanks man, covered pretty much what I was looking for. I was debating between this and the Kinovo but seeing as theres a version of this same HDMI switch with 4 inputs and this one has some features I like better, I know which one I'm going with!
All ports is HDMI 2.0? All ports works in real 4k@60hz + hdr? I have PS4 PRO and PC connected on TV, but my TV has only 1 port HDMI 2.0. All ports works?
i have been doing some research into get a switch and i have read how some cause screen lag. I am getting this to use as a switch for my XB1 and PC because I like using a capture card to process instead of my PC doing it. My capture card is a Elgato HD60 Pro which is PCIe in my rig. Do you notice any lag with this? or maybe the sound and video losing sync at all?
I'll buy one like it, so I'm wondering is its quality of FHD 1080p good as much as through a direct cable without switch? Thank you for your review. :)
Hey, i know it's an old video but... Does it auto switch to active input device? Let's say i have a PS3 and a PS4 and they are both turned off, if i turn on one of them, will it select that input? I'm planing on not turning them on at the same time, i just need to know if it will know which input to pick automatically.
Had to return it. Didnt work with a Samsung 4k 6300 55, with a PS4 and Amazon Fire TV 2. When it did show a picture it was snow. I have several 4k HDMI cables I tested same thing, without the device no problems. Ordered another device I saw before seeing this and it was worse, returning it now.
So I bought the 4x1 and it reads all of my inputs and reads the out is connected but it will not display on my tv. None of the 4 devices I have connected will display on the screen when I cycle through it on the switcher remote. Any ideas?
I am planning to set the dual monitors with one desktop. 4k monitor and the other 1 is 1080p. is that proper item that i am looking for? (1 pc, 2 monitors)
can u use this with 1 ps4 pro and two tvs? basically have a big tv n small one and would like to switch between them. again i only have 1 ps4 n want to connect/switch between 2 tvs same room
Not with this one. What you will need is an HDMI Switch that has 2 Output ports so you can connect it to two TVs or monitors and have a remote or button to switch. I don't know if there is an HDMI Switch with 2 Outports Ports but I'll look into it
So after doing some quick research, I found this option that is what I believe you are looking for but continue to search around if you can find a better option amzn.to/2np6aKN
you dont need a switch for 1 console to 2 displays. What you need is a splitter just as TECH posted a link to. However if you have more than 1 console to connect to more than 1 display then you will need a switch with 2 outputs. 2 input x 2 output or 4 input x 2 output and so on
Hey great video! Just wanted to say that I appreciate the fact that you took the time to make this informative video. So thank you again. Some constructive criticism: think about writing everything out before you make a video to avoid using the same phrases over and over again. I noticed you saying, "What I really like..." phrase several times in this video. Writing the script would have helped you avoid doing that. Unless you really like saying ,"What I really like..." and DGAF. Which could also be true. Anyhow, hope you make more videos brother and here is to your continued success. 🍺
+ValhallaOutcast So unfortunately this Switch doesn't support HDMI 2.0 but I did review another Switch that does support it and you can find it by just looking around my channel
Tech HD | Unboxings, Reviews, How To Vids thanks man for letting me know because I want to buy it soon so I can watch movies in 4K. Thanks again have a good day sir.
Yea no problem bro but to be honest, that's not my favorite 4K HDMI Switch. I made another video on a switch that has better features and better quality. So if you wanna check it, here the link ruclips.net/video/5zxQNbtIkJA/видео.html
Thanks😊 Yea I've improved that now, I have it set to like -30 db and have my voice set too -6 db so that my voice is still clear. So now my latest videos are much better and more balanced😊😊
This is all BS! According to some comments on amazon, and I quote, "More importantly you should know that this device does NOT support HDCP 2.2 standards, so any content you attempt to stream or play through this switch will be blocked. Not sure if PS4 games have that built-in HDCP protection, but they probably do. I strongly advise you look for something else - I'm doing the same. If you're not familiar with hdcp then please by all means look it up because that's much more important for interconnectivity." Thus, it should not work with the newest PS4 Pro RDR2 bundle!!!

Nice video. I just ordered mine on Amazon...
Question: I noticed your Focusrite Interface... are you recording music too?
Thanks again for the vid!
Awesome bro, naa I just do it for voice over and recording audio
4k at 60hz?
Thanks man, covered pretty much what I was looking for. I was debating between this and the Kinovo but seeing as theres a version of this same HDMI switch with 4 inputs and this one has some features I like better, I know which one I'm going with!
+kenkune55 Awesome bro, glad I can help😊👌

smooth switching....without black...
I'll buy one like it, so I'm wondering is its quality of FHD 1080p good as much as through a direct cable without switch?
Thank you for your review.
:)
+Logi cal Yea there nothing different in the quality of it from what I've seen. As if I'm not even using a switch lol
Tech HD | Unboxings, Reviews, How To Vids
So.. I think I found what I was looking for. Thanks a lot for your reply. :)
+Logi cal Yea no problem👌
Hey, i know it's an old video but...

From when I had it, it would but I don't own that HDMI Switch anymore
Thanks for the review. I was looking for a good hdmi splitter for gaming. This looks to be exactly what I need.
thanks! i've been wanting to figure out why i should buy this versus others. this definitely did the trick
not a problem👌👌
Thinking of getting this for my 4k tv. I have my DVR Box PS4 Pro Switch + others. Does this support HDCP 2.2?
+Martin Blee HDCP 1.4 but I have another video on a 4K Switch that is much better in my opinion. You can check it out if you want
Would it be the "LiteXim 4K HDMI Switch"?
+Martin Blee Yea. I switched the other one for that one, much better quality in my opinion
So you can also attach a cable box to this?
Had to return it. Didnt work with a Samsung 4k 6300 55, with a PS4 and Amazon Fire TV 2. When it did show a picture it was snow. I have several 4k HDMI cables I tested same thing, without the device no problems. Ordered another device I saw before seeing this and it was worse, returning it now.
+James C. Brooks Oh damm bro, sorry that happened to you. That you tried multiple ways to see if it'll work and nothing😥
Dude your review was awesome I purchased the Zettagard HDMI selector it's works great!
+Dave4infinite Awesome, glad you enjoy it😊👌
Does this only works for games, cause i have my dvd hookup. I see green light n blue light for that output, but tv says no signal, my ps4 works fine
Yea it's not just for Gaming Consoles
So I bought the 4x1 and it reads all of my inputs and reads the out is connected but it will not display on my tv. None of the 4 devices I have connected will display on the screen when I cycle through it on the switcher remote. Any ideas?
I would recommend you try it out on a different TV or Monitor. And if that does not work then most likely you have a defective product
I am planning to set the dual monitors with one desktop. 4k monitor and the other 1 is 1080p. is that proper item that i am looking for? (1 pc, 2 monitors)
To have a dual monitor setup you shouldn't need a HDMI Converter. Just a motherboard or a GPU that has 2 or more HDMI Ports
thats the problem my GPU has only one HDMI port. thas why i need a HDMI splitter
***** This is not a splitter though. It's a switch
thnk u very big
+the glamoure 👌👌
can u use this with 1 ps4 pro and two tvs? basically have a big tv n small one and would like to switch between them. again i only have 1 ps4 n want to connect/switch between 2 tvs same room

4k= a great way to get us to spend shit loads of money for a difference most people can't see! Wohoo! =D
+MobileDecay 😂😂
Just bought this one...good review man
Thanks. The review will be going up soon
will this work for my Nvidia Shield Roku and Xbox One?
It should work for the Nvidia Shield. I connect my Chromecast so it's similar to the Roku and I connect my XB1 to it and it works
Okay thank you
Ultra HD 4k hdmi 2.0 cable test it out on your TV
Does this box make the tv appearance into 4k? Or...
NO

Thank you man and yea, all my videos now are scripted to avoid stuff like that and to make the video shorter
Great vid big man
Thank you bro :)
ur setup is clean dude
Thanks bro :) A lot has changed since that video so I can't wait for the 2017 Studio Room Tour at the end of this year
Hello i love your review of the ZettaGuard HDMI 3x1 Switcher .I just ordered one for my son's gaming setup wow we love it works great !
will this work with the soundbar??
What do you mean??
are all 3 inputs 4K HDMI 2.0?
+ValhallaOutcast So unfortunately this Switch doesn't support HDMI 2.0 but I did review another Switch that does support it and you can find it by just looking around my channel
Can I contact you for help setting mine up?
It's Plug and Play and I don't own that one anymore
Tech HD | Unboxings, Reviews, How To Vids what do you own now?
ruclips.net/video/5zxQNbtIkJA/видео.html
Does this work on 40 inch flat screens ?
Tech HD | Unboxings, Reviews, How To Vids thanks man for letting me know because I want to buy it soon so I can watch movies in 4K. Thanks again have a good day sir.

Tech HD | Unboxings, Reviews, How To Vids I'll check it out.
TY, Great review!!
+Michael S Thanks😊
how do you set it up?
Logan Bresemann Just plug and play, not hard at all lol
My Kinivo just died, now I'm looking for an alternative.
+Doctor Syed I have another video on a different HDMI Switch if you wanna check it out
I just ordered the Orei HD-501X from Amazon. A streamer that I follow uses that one, so I'm going to give it a shot.
+Doctor Syed ok sounds good, looks ugly to me and I'm seeing a lot of bad reviews on it but if it is good, let me know
I need one with more than 4 HDMI ports. Too much gadgets, lol
+Doctor Syed lol. The other HDMI Switch I reviewed has 5 ports and a USB port, also you don't need to hook it up to a wall
when you switch 1 device to 2 device it occur black...
Yea it does take some time for it to switch to the other device. That's how it is with all switches, some are faster though
Nice review, but please turn down the music, I can barely hear you
Thanks😊 Yea I've improved that now, I have it set to like -30 db and have my voice set too -6 db so that my voice is still clear. So now my latest videos are much better and more balanced😊😊
Does this support HDR
+Mark Herrera Unfortunately no
Tech HD | Unboxings, Reviews, How To Vids thanks I appreciate you letting me know
+Mark Herrera no problem👌
Wish it had HDR.

thank you that was good advice I noticed he never mentioned HDCP
my remote doesn't work, any tips?
+Joe295398 I have no idea, never happened with me so I don't know how to sync it back with the switch. I guess change the battery lol
This doesn’t support 4K HDR
