Katrina!!! The reading queen 👻✨ alsooo adorable shirt! I’ve always been interested in reading that psychic bloodbath book, but then I learned from Kristine that it was written by David Södergren! Apparently, Eric, John Lee is his pen name!! 😮😮😮 so now I REALLY want to read it! Wahoo! So happy you loved it watches in the dark and that you found it to be a great Halloween read! It’s on my list and I’ll be getting to that very very soon. Give me all the creepy scarecrows! I’m waiting (not so) patiently for my hold on We Used to Live Here to come in after placing it during your last reading vlog. I’m so intrigued!!
@@happyhauntslibrary yes!! David Sodergren just announced that's his own name!! Such a fun surprise! I'm excited to hear what you think of We Used to Live Here and It Watches in the Dark! 👻 I got the shirt from five and below 🤗 🖤
We Used to Live Here was a favorite read this month. I'm not a puzzle person but when I realized there were things to be solved I dove right in and actually cracked them. Which was fun and might I say validating lol. I even suckered my kid into reading it with the premise of code cracking. You need to give it a shot!
I also read Rotten Tommy this month and loved it! I read Psychic Teenage Bloodbath earlier this year and absolutely loved it too 😍 I just found out that David Sodegren and Carl John Lee are actually the same person🤯
I just bought the vengeful bitch one today! I had never heard of it! Good to know it's a Halloween book. And oh no! I already own Midnight Rooms but I hate smut in my books! 😭
I loved Gone to See the River Man, but I haven't gotten to Along the River of Flesh. I feel like my expectations are too high & I'm going to be let down. I listened to We Used To Live Here, too, and I really want a physical copy, too. It's a great book!
Just read "Last Date in El Zapotal" by Mateo Garcia Elizondo, a weird tale about a junkie's spirit wandering a sleazy landscape looking for the afterlife.
It was about three quarters enjoyable, if enjoyable is the right word for such a bleak book. I think William S. Burroughs will always remain the master of the junkie novel in my view 😸😆
Added It Watches After Dark onto my tbr! Love a good scarecrow lol
Yay!!! Excited to hear what you think!
Added It Watches in the Dark to my TBR. I love Jeff Strand! You had such a good month!
Jeff Strand books are such a fun time!
I loveeeeeed Rotten Tommy! Can't wait to read Psychic Teenage Bloodbath after the Sodergren revelation!
Yesss!!! That was so exciting to find out!!
Yes definitely get the physical copy of We Used To Live Here! I loved solving all the clues and decoding things!
@@bran_the_reader I need to!!
Butcher and Blackbird is SO GOOD.
@@ITCamefromthePage it was fun!!
I agree with you, YA horror books have such amazing covers!!
@@inmycraftyreadingroom they're the best! Adult horror book covers are usually boring 😂

@@WickedScorpio 😂 I think I was thinking of the catdog song 😆 Wetbones is so disgusting but so good!

The wet bones song 🎶 I always think of Dry bones from Mario brothers and like wet bones is his nemesis.
