My condolences to Wayne and his family and friends and all who knew and loved him. He was a great guy, a "Great One" in his own right. Now he's heading to the great ice rink in the sky and coaching from above.

Peter's approach to the interview was excellent because Peter knew that Walter has conducted hundreds of interviews from his home before and has re-told the same stories hundreds of times as well . Walter is an old pro at giving these home interviews … not just to podcasters and to radio personalities but to neighbours and friends who stop in for impromptu visits . And ; so , Peter wisely allowed Walter to talk freely about what he wanted to talk about and when he wanted to talk about it . Rita did a good job , too ; but I would make the criticism that she interjected too often with assumptions in the interest of making a joke . So ; she came off looking like a goof … who was trying to make a true story better than it already is . Nothing beats a true story with good story-telling , Rita . You don't need to spin it with goofy remarks to enhance the story . Even though Walter has re-told these stories countless number of times , he still enjoys telling them , he still has a lot of patience and he still has a lot of good humour . I was impressed at how succinctly and articulately Walter conveyed his family history . It's a great story . God bless you Walter and good health to you … Miles .
