@@KairavaI read the novel immediately after the first season ended. I’ve now read it twice. The funniest thing is that the entire scenario that ends the first season never even happens in the novel!

The vibe of that serial killer story with Zhang Xincheng reminds me so much of Mo Du where he played Fei Du... sad that we'll probably never see that drama's full release

about Da Sheng Yi Ren, Tucoon, led by wonderful and pleasant actor Chen Xiao and Sun Qian, I can agree with you about the stunning, gorgeous type of hair Sun Qian inherited in her DNA... this kind of hair for me it is the best too. I admire and contemplate with kind of veneration the women who such a glamorous texture of strong hair (sandy hair?), and I never, never understood the majority of women who are complaining about having this kind of hair... because... and so on... No, they are the best type of hair ever and I understand your jealousy about your roommate, of course.... thank you for sharing this! and thank you for this video, as usual!!!

Good news about 'Joy of Life S2' (but please, please, please let it be as good as season 1!)
I'm now at episode 19 of 'City of the City', and still loving it. But then I'm a big Bai Yu Fan fan - I loved him in 'Ripe Town'. If the writing quality stays this good until the end, then this may join 'The Knockout' and 'Ordinary Greatness' on my list of favourite contemporary dramas.
And there is rumor of Winner Is King and Immortality dropping on 1st May 🤡

Best cdrama of the year "The Spirealm" Wowooo perfection!
When I started watching cdramas almost a decade ago, female-centric period dramas in which female lead was a "commoner" she was often given medical skills to meet and heal wandering royal/aristocratic/wealthy male lead(s). Maybe coming up with non-cliched situations to have them keep meeting and later binding the lead couple together is "too much work" for current cdrama productions, scriptwriters just use quick setups like engagement/marriage and work/profession to bind the couple early on. Thus, female coroners in period cdramas - Pretty much everything happens locally with FL staying put while still having a "career".
I recommend the Korean drama Lovely Runner. 4 episodes in and it's good. Hopefully it won't have a crappy ending

They delayed Joy of Life 2 for so long that I really cant recall what Joy of Life 1 was about, who is who, and who is doing what. Gawd. In my darkest mind, I really think they delayed JOL2 on purpose, so that ppl rewatch JOL1, and on VIP!!
Maybe Joy Of Life will save 2024, everything is boring these days even kdramas tbh

I have watched In The Name Of The Brother and Will Love In Spring.
Yang Mi is surprisingly good in ITNOTB and there’s plenty of action in the drama but I still dropped it as in the core, it’s still a cliche Republican Era espionage drama.
Will Love In Spring, I Like. It’s a slow burn drama but always with some interesting part in each episode. It’s also not the usual idol romance drama with a male lead working in the morgue and a female lead with disability. I also enjoy the pairing of Li Xian and Zhou Yutong, they made a cool and adorable couple.
Toast that is super soft and sweet? Isn't that called bread?
Bread is a broader term than bread that is made to be toasted in a toaster. That Japanese toast she talked about is maybe twice the thickness of typical toast bread. Not sure it can fit all toasters. Great for making French toasts, I was told.

How can a person get ideas for new dramas to someone who can make them? I'm not a screenwriter or anything, but I have thought of dramas that I think are different and would be enjoyable; I just don't know how to contact anyone about them. What's the usual procedure for that? Thank you.
