  • Today we're looking at the history of Huntsville, AL & Wernher Von Braun, the controversial scientist behind America's space program. I just got back from a work trip to Huntsville, the "Rocket City," where Von Braun's innovations led to revolutionary rockets like the Saturn V. Unravel the legacy of this brilliant mind, who dreamed of reaching the stars and forever shaped humanity's exploration of the cosmos.

Great video. Would be interested in seeing that video on Von Braun once you finish the book. As for the whole Nazi war criminal thing, war in general sucks and people on all sides committed atrocities. Although the Germans definitively did that the most.

👎🏼 Read the many related History books first! Both on von Braun and the German Military Industrial Complex of the Nazi period.
Understand how scarce life loyalties, responsibilities and career choices you have in an extremely oppressive, criminal Dictatorship.
USAmericans never want to recognize that other nationals not speaking English from birth had the right to be Patriots and love their Country.
Same idiocy happens when history is written about Werner Heisenberg.
But nobody would ever write about the contemporary British Engineer Barney Wallis, and the tens if not hundreds of thousands deaths of German Civilians he helped to kill with the bombs he designed for the RAF and that bloody assassin Arthur Harris.
