What a waste of money and resources. Just use an existing pool that is built and already existing that holds top competitions.
Attendance for Olympic Trials has gotten so high that they need to build a pool in a venue as large as Lucas Oil to accommodate the immense volume of swimming fans.
A world class pool at IU is about 1 mile away. It’s been used for trials before. Setup up big screens at Lucas oil stadium for the over flow with lots of food and beer.
I know there are haters, but I think this awesome!

I wish this was the pool that the 2024 Olympic games were held in 😂. The Paris one they built is... artistic... I guess. Hopefully they do more to it because it can't compete with the Indy one right now.
I'm pretty sure the one you're referring to is the artistic swimming and water polo pool. Look up where the swimming events are going to be held, it is being held in an existing stadium.
