I think Gomez will be playing next to VVD next year, not at right back. Be interesting to see. Very good full back, but I see him playing more as a midfielder in the near future, technically very good, very good passer, great striker of the ball and his crossing is great to, sometimes superb. Powerful lad, big and strong who is still growing and gonna get stronger. Can see him in future cutting in from left and unleashing some bombs.

How many people would've thought of making that cross-field pass into Robo's path for the second goal against City. Effectively takes out the City's 2 wide players closing him down and the entire midfield - not just reaching to his teammate but setting him up perfectly for a forward run. From midway point in Liverpool's half, 3 touches later, the ball is in the City's net. Probably the best long passer and crosser in EPL. KDB makes killer crosses too but they are identical and predictable - a good defense can nullify it. TAA is much more unpredictable because he can make that pass in so many different ways. With these attributes, it will be interesting to see him take a midfield role - something similar to Henderson's position in midfield - Right CM.
Easily the best English outfield player alongside Kane for the England team. Southgate must be blind if he doesn't put this guy in the first team starting matches and also allow him the opportunity to play as a midfielder. Out of your Rashford's, Lingard's and Sterling's none of those players to me feel like they will be world class. All of those names are hyped up imo. They are very good players but I think that's all they will ever be, hope I'm proven wrong. Trent, however, gives me different vibes, his persona and how down to earth he is and matching that is his ability which is world-class already for his age. The passing, freekicks, game sense. He will be hell of a player by 22/23 mark my words. No one is even really talking about him as much as people hype about Sterling and Rashford, which will only be good for him as he will surpass those guys out of the blocks eventually.
