2024 NETRA Indian Ridge Hare Scramble by Tri State Trail Riders

After a DNF at Black Fly and with the Husqvarna still out of commission, I dusted off the old 2002 Kawaskai KDX 200 and put on a new Dunlop AT81EX rear tire and gave it hell. The KDX is the perfect bike for Indian Ridge. I had a slow start, ending up 6th after my first lap, but found my groove, carried that momentum, held my position, and climbed to 5th by the end. The old front fork conversion re-valved by Factory Connection Suspension worked like a dream. With over 180 riders in C overall, there was a lot of passing that had to happen to stay with the lead pack. I ended up 5th in C vet and 21st in C class overall. I have not ridden as much at all since the last fun ride, and it showed. Maybe I'll finish the season on the KDX it felt that good. Other than the dead start with a kicker, I was keeping up with everyone on the slow technical sections and through the twisty rocks and roots. Tri State put on an awesome event, and I'm looking forward to the next one. Let’s keep this momentum going into round 5 at Moose Mountain in Granville, MA.

How do you manage lighting for both indoor and outdoor shots in a video?

I do very little editing of the actual footage. I just run a go pro 1080p @ 60fps super view and use davinci resolve studio for the 4k upscale from 1080p.

AA riders still doing 20-minute lap times. Its fast for a woods course.
