Hi! You know, one of the very best place to find kids books is your local thrift store! You can't beat 50 cents to $1.00. I always just scrubbed them down with a Clorox wipe and let them air dry(yes, even Scholastic paperback covers). I often found new in box or very gently used Lakeshore toys, puzzles, games, etc. Some toys sort of grossed me out; I never bought stuffies or soft toys, but you really might find some good stuff! Kids clothes are also SO cheap at thrift stores. As a new Mom, I wasn't smart enough to thrift for kids stuff and spent so much money on things my kids quickly passed up. Would love to see you hit up some thrift stores and see what you can find!
I need to start doing this! I’m quick to go to a thrift store for home decor, but never for kids items. Definitely going to start doing this!

Love ur nail colour. Love the baskets 4 ur wardrobe. I think you should get more for other shelves. Another impulse buy maybe necessary lol. Love the open space. Like how he cut thin pieces of wood to level the floor. The fireplace doesn't look as big. More in proportion! The girls look like mini you's. Hair is gorgeous! Xx

It looks so nice without the hall cupboard. Your entryway is so much brighter now too. We dont have a door on our hallway and i worry too about the kids hearing us but they've not seemed to notice it lol, and we love the open feeling of not having a door

Love the Halloween theme boo basket. The light pink with white and black is perfect for little girls at Halloween. That new bag is a great colour and size. I remember when my child was little, a big bag was so handy. Mine was a navy blue with white dots.❤

So much more open without the closet! Have you considered moving the entry table and mirror to the opposite wall now? It could make the entry by the couch feel more spacious!
Agreed! We’ve considered it, but I have another idea for that space I really want to work on
