Holsinger's Fly Shop I do it any time I take a hackle up the body or even down the body like a wooly bugger. When going front to back, add the straight turn at the front before palmering down the hook.
"If you screw it up, it'll still fish." Ha! That's pretty much been my motto since I started my channel. Nice tie Sean. 🙂

Great dry fly. A true classic that was tied well. Thanks!
original Ed Story crackleback is a dyed turkey body light yellow or olive one of my favorite patterns for exploring top water
That's a cool and simple fly
Thanks Shawn
Dave Hall thanks Dave
Very simple fly. Hint: Add 1-2 straight turns of hackle at the front to reduce corkscrewing and twisting leader during casting.
Jeff Price great tip thanks for adding that. I never heard that before.

Great attractor. I like to use a small dropper off it about 10 inches.
