Martian manhunter is the most powerful and a well liked member of the justice league, he definitely deserves his own movie! If I could direct a movie I would probably do this.
I strongly agree with you in he deserves making his own movie. If they going to do Justice League movie in 2017 then they should make Martian Manhunter movie before. Earliest time it will be next year. They also should make Wonder Woman and Hawk Girl movie.
martian manhunter is such an underrated character, he is so powerful which is the problem for writers who dont know what to do with him and are unable to make him reach a list status as superman and batman enjoy for more than 75 years. he has such a peaceful, just, stoic, wise, reasonable and noble personality which makes him such a compelling and awesome character. i loved him in JL, JL unlimited where he was the soul of that team and he was a great mentor to miss martian in young justice. i would like to see him in live action in this scenario i've been running in my mind, at the end of the first JL movie he summons batman with his telepathy and when batman discovers him in some secret government facility led by luthor or waller they form a friendship that is kept from the rest of the JL. in the second movie he actually helps them but they dont see him because he is invisible or in human form then in the third/last JL movie when all heroes have fallen and darkseid is about to annihilate them then batman summons him and martin manhunter shows himself in his true form in all of his glory, that would be one hell of a scenario at least in my mind!

No one in the dc comics is stronger than the Man of Steel... except for Doomsday. Martian Manhunter is strong but not stronger than superman, he's barely stronger than Captain Marvel.

It's not his super powers as much as his perspective that I enjoy most. He's not the divided 'Batman' or the 'altruistic' Superman. I'd like to see him in more character cross-overs.
