Which cotton thread is good for making a table runner or doily
I had 3 shades if these; green, Fuchsia and yellow. Green was very soft and smooth to work with. Fuchsia was manageable. But the Yellow was super hard while crocheting,(but very soft when you touch and feel it) wasn't gliding through any of my 2.75 mm to 5mm crochet hooks. So I unwound the balls, washed them with shampoo and conditioner. The result wasn't satisfactory but could manage to crochet with it.

This video was really good. I generally use the anchor knitting thread but for thalposh it seems to be little thin. I was looking for thicker thread. Thank you.
Yes it's thicker than AKC and will look good on thalposh. But yardage will be lesser when compared to AKC

4057 will be less weight than 4060 for wearables.... It's based on size of the dress you are making.

you can make handbags with acrylic and cotton yarns. But there is something called purse thread which is used specially for handbags. I think you can. I have made a few small ones with AKC 4057, using 2.50 mm
