This is a very powerful presentation. All Californians should be aware of these issues.

The water has not disappeared, it is hiding on you in the form of humidity. Condensation could turn this humidity into drinkable water. The Moses West Foundation produces water machines that produce at least 12 gallons of condensed water daily. Also, growing fast-growing trees would help change the ecosystem by bringing more rain, as trees bring rain through evapotranspiration. Giant thugas, an evergreen, and silver maples are just 2 examples of fast-growing trees. It would be good to plant rows of trees in giant crop fields as a form of agroforestry.
