- The wonderful Isagel remastered this vid with all-new shiny DVD footage. YAY!!! Source: Thor, Pairing: Thor/Loki, Song: Set Fire to the Rain by Adele. Originally released in May 2011.
This will forever be my main association with this song. When I first watched the original cam-copy-footage verson of this, it was my first exposure to both this movie and this song and it seemed such a beautiful, perfect marriage that nothing will ever undo it in in my brain.

So, here's the thing: I'm actually a huge Trekkie whose OTP is Kirk/Spock.
But everyone on Tumblr started posting endless Thor/Loki stuff because of The Avengers movie.
So I saw The Avengers. And saw it again. And again.
And I couldn't get Thor/Loki out of my head.
And then I saw this vid, and went crazy. SO MANY FEELINGS~
This vid is why I now own the Blu-Ray of Thor.
Without even having a freaking Blu-Ray player. :)
TL; DR- Kirk/Spock shipper watches this glorious vid, gains new ship.
No matter how much Thor loves his brother, there's void he can't breach between Loki and him.He wishes he could tell his brother that he loves him no matter what, but Thor fears it will fall on deaf ears, where Loki is concern, and that hurts Thor deeply.
