I have been in and out of bands for over 40 years and im pretty much done playing out, but I do miss jamming with real people. This soooo much better than playing to a cd, fantastic!!! Thank you for the fun.
I know exactly what you are talking about after playing bass as pro for 12 years. Really miss playing with good musicians, and I’m tired of playing guitar with bad bassists
My first foray into some more interesting chords with a jam track. Was easier than I thought. I vary the speed to work different patterns. Fun and useful practice. Thank you 🙏
Thank you so much for these tracks. As a bass player this is invaluable as a practice tool for both improvisation, ear training, and importantly, being able to sit in the pocket. Much more inspiring than a metronome! Yes, the structure of the track is simple, however, that is absolutely what a bass player needs to hone his or her or their feel as part of the rhythm section.
Didn't check the time before starting, slipped into a dreamy groove about 14:00. It went on and on making me really dig for those old fave riffs. Thanks, mon.

The important thing in music is groove. The bass is what makes that groove. So copying the fine bass lines of the bass guitar is the first step to becoming a groove master.
This track has massively helped my hopeless slapping rhythm. When I play along to this, it is almost impossible to get it wrong & dozens of riffs come to mind. Ace groove!
I am a professional singer and songwriter, who has some skills with bass, guitar drums and keyboard. I love this track and plan to really get my bass skills up. Thanks for adding tracks like this it's so helpful to many and I and truly grateful! Have a Blessed day!!!
@MusicJamTracks its not about how many instruments you play , it's about how you play your ,own ,and judging by how you wrote this backing track I think you must be very experienced when it comes to playing bass
Thank you for your wonderful message. You can learn various playing techniques and tones of bass from this track. And what do you think about playing this bass?
Tanks dude, i live pretty far from the city, so i can't just go jamming every friday night anytime i want. this is really helpfull, improvisation is a skill that we can lose with no practice.
I love to jam into this, almost fell into nirvana jamming straight to this for 30 minutes,, got some good ideas and fills to add into my playing, thank you so much!
Love this kind of practise for boring finger progressions. I´m a pro/Semipro bassplayer since 50 years back. Got some wrong with my fingers motorin. Got getti´n better with Glucosamine and training with these tracks..Doobie Brothers a song think fits? Guess which.. ;-)
Very nice backing track. I wonder if i could use your audio as backing track for a solo bass impro video? I would add a reference to you of course. Regards!
I really like the backing track bro but it's abit annoying that you have ads that cut the track mid jam, pretty disappointing I can't play without it just stopping randomly...
I think it's okay to think of E minor 9 as E minor 7, which contains the 7th sound. B7 is a code whose key is E minor dominant. When playing a solo, I think there is basically no problem with the E minor pentatonic.
Ok. I'm only learning bass from tabs. I come from drumming. Self taught. Never had a music lesson. So what you are saying is mega confusing to me. I've tried watching theory videos, but those are just as confusing. I was checking out your video so that maybe it could be something I could noodle on the fretboard to.

I agree as there are spots to pound 1/8 notes and times to solo and drive the melody. I love it and played the entire 30 minuets

Now if only I knew som music theory...not sure there the numbers come into play.
Please tell me the specific points you do not understand. I would like to explain as much as possible.
I would assume that Em = E minor, but Em9 means nothing to me let alone B7(#9)
I think it's okay to think of E minor 9 as E minor 7, which contains the 7th sound.
B7 is a code whose key is E minor dominant. When playing a solo, I think there is basically no problem with the E minor pentatonic.

OK man.First of all, it is important to have fun. Let's learn the theory after enjoying music!
Perhaps a silly question but is there a name for this chord progression? I.e. how would you propose this to a group of musicians during a jam?
This chord progression is a kind of blues called minor blues. When you have a session with your friends, first decide on a key and decide whether it's a minor blues progression or a major blues progression.
@@MusicJamTracks thank you
Can you help, C is not in Em why do you include it here?
The idea of C is surrogate code.
M really confuse with thats notes on the screen is that bass chords or guitar chords??
We can play just simple notes and make your rhythm

If you want to play this track as a bass, try playing the chord root first.

Hi Luigi Zanini😁
I checked the video. Your video is interesting. I always use Fenders, so I like the sound of Fenders. The slap sound is also funky and cool.
What scale is this in?
First, practice ad lib with the E minor pentatonic.
My bass teacher told me to do this, but what am I supposed to do pls ?
Your teacher is right.
@@MusicJamTracks ye probably
Well, he told me what I had to do
First, let's copy the bassline completely. Everything up to the tone and timing.
Why would you put adds in the middle of a backing track??....oh dear lord
Adds in the middle is dead
Em9 : E G B D F#
Am9 : A B C E G
C7 : C E G A#
B7(#9) : B D D# Gb A
I am a beginner player.
If there is anything wrong, please comment.
