Hi Niki, did you see the cups in Epic universe on the back row, I couldn’t choose which one so I got my lad a Mario and Zoshi cup🤦🏼♀️ so cute,although I ve been told , no more cups 🤣 . Had to have em 🙌🏻. And did Craig get the hat, it’s the best one by far. Also great info on the passes, your 3 park I noticed was £399, was that from the park as virgin charge around £330ish. I definitely want to get an annual pass next time, you got a good price for the upgrade 👍🏻

You will have to watch the rest of the video to see if I got the hat 🤣 The 14 day pass we got from OAT was £305. When we upgraded Universal gave us $399 against the upgrade price. NIC paid and extra $25 for the seasonal 2 park annual pass and I paid and extra $230 for the 2 park preffered pass. Hope that helps

Thank you both for the step by step upgrade procedure. Me and hubby coming out at the end of April for 14 nights. So we will definitely be upgrading to an annual pass, its a great excuse to come back again within a year. We both came with our "old" parntners years ago when our children were small, so its our turn to be big "63 year old" kids now. Thanks again for lots of info and advice on your channel. Lyn & Paul 😊

Came upon this video when looking about UK annual pass options - I'm likely visiting in both July 2026 (with my sons), and then again in Feb 2027 with my partner. Getting the regular 2 week pass twice would be expensive (around £1k at 2026 prices), and so an annual pass would make sense. And being able to just upgrade is brilliant! Due to when we're starting there, I'm fairly sure its a blockout date - so wouldn't be the basic tiers, and we'd be wanting Islands, Universal, Volcano and Epic. Hugely useful video, many many thanks!

Where do you purchase your original Universal tickets before upgrading them?
Block out dates are the dates your annual passes don't cover. The seasonal one has block out dates but the preferred pass doesn't. They have cut down the dates on that now and it looks like it's just July next year for block out. We got our tickets from Orlando Attraction Tickets again this year. Would recommend them 😁

There's no blackout dates for my 2 park pass and if you want the 3 park it's an extra 110 dollars on top of the 230 dollars extra I paid for the 2 park preferred pass
Hi Craig and Niki, quick question about the passes, do you upgrade at beginning of the holiday or nearer the end, as I believe the 12 months starts from 1st use. I know people in the past have gotten 3 months extra for free. 👋
We did ours at the beginning but it doesn't really matter as it starts from the first use of the ticket you are upgrading from. As far as I know the 3 months extra is when you renew your old annual pass and not when you are just upgrading.
Extremely random question but do you suffer from Jet lag once you're home? We just got back from 2 weeks in Florida and the jet lag has been awful this time!
@@Graveseh1 I can't sleep on the planes so even though it was an overnight flight, I'd gone nearly 2 days with no sleep. As soon as we got home, I couldn't fight it and fell asleep, big mistake but there was no stopping it. That's nothing new for me though and still doesn't normally take that long. It's my first time in September, maybe it's septembers fault 🤣

We would have to upgrade to one of the top 2 passes as we can only visit during school holidays, so we will see how much it is 👍

Hi, yes it does get free parking. You only need 1 pass to get free parking and it doesn't matter who has it

Not normally but we did this time, even with the melatonin but normally we are ok
I found it horrendous this time round.

It was 230 for me to upgrade to a preferred pass and 25 dollars for NIC to upgrade to a seasonal pass
Universal merch prices are right in line with Disney now, and not in a good way!
It's all too expensive really, it wouldn't be too bad if the exchange rate was like it used to be in the good old days 🤣
I've always refused to buy Disney merch, I'd have to really like something in universal. Most of what we spend is outside the park
