Why though? Even if they had included the Golden Tanooki Suit, which is the most broken power-up in the Mario franchise, i don't think it would stand a chance against Toppo's GoD mode. Toppo would be able to bypass the invincibility of the suit's powers cause if the Hakai can bypass a Supreme Kai's immortality then it would be easily able to do the same thing on a power that grants immunity to damage.

Guessing no but they did include a clip when talking about the Fire Flower so who knows. Aside from the fact that it follows the same story the mario games does, i don't think it should count due to major differences from mario to Mario~kun. Can defeat users wielding a Grand Star, which can reset and recreate the universe as well as destroy the very fabric of the universe, and are 80x stronger than a Power Star. Bowser with the Grand Stars was stated to be a universal threat, with the final battle being titled "The Fate of the Universe". Physically defeated Bowser, who survived the universe's reset. Survived the incomplete Void, which destroyed all of Sammer Kingdom and its space-time. Can somewhat harm Dimentio, who has the power to destroy a dimension. Due to Mario's current power being far beyond the events than Super Paper Mario, he should scale by now. Defeated The Ancient's creations who overpowered them. Their powers can create universes and destroy them. Count Bleck compared Mario's power to their own. Comparable to Antasma, who can consume and manipulate dream worlds. About speed Mario has almost infinite speed because he is able to move through a Timeless void making me his speed irrelevant so yeah his durability is also far more impressive being able to survive a Timeless void that was going to destroy all worlds in Concepts such as life and death and many other layers such as Heaven and Hell and has Concepts from string theory and Pluto's book which is a 12 d feet if not higher Mario Kun is straight-up boundless
What is blud talking about 🤦♂️ There are multiple Mario games that are told in the form of stories (games like Super Paper Mario), fictional video games in the verse (referenced various times in the manga for example; also from series like WarioWare), and even plays (games like Odyssey, and especially Super Mario Bros. 3), and even guidebooks (the information of the guidebooks and the guidebooks themselves are acknowledged as canon in games like Super Paper Mario, and even some Donkey Kong games to my recollection), but none of that debunks the sequel's canonicity. I mean do you believe the Paper Mario series is just a big scrapbook because of that aesthetic and that being what some of the games are told through? The cartoons do have notable feats (the Mario and Luigi dodging the Sun feat was calced at FTL for example, but also scenarios like the cast entering a dimension beyond space and time, along with the show showing a lot of abilities and ability-related feats). As for speed, Mario can dodge and attack the Millennium Star, who as an infant, flew from the center of the universe in seconds, has existed and moved in areas beyond space and time (the Void in Super Paper Mario, the Cutout World in Color Splash, Bowser’s Warped Orbit in Mario Party 8, etc.), jumped through time in Yoshi’s New Island, dodged meteors that were able to hit a moving Starship Mario (which has been stated to travel through space and time, but also travels past several universes in two seconds, in which universes in Mario are commonly infinite), Mario’s dodged Shroob UFO attacks, and these UFOs can travel from the other side of the universe to Mario’s planet in no less than a few minutes, Mario has dodged attacks from DK, who can react and move while being shot out of a Bonus Barrel (which shoots its occupant through space and time), Mario still moves in Tick Tock Clock where time is either flowing normally, accelerating, decelerating, reversing, or completely stopped, Mario fought Culex (who literally consumes time, and is a master of time and space) in a dimensional rift, which by definition, are devoid of time and space, Mario dodged Voids sent at him by Count Bleck, in which the Void and its kind is omnipresent throughout all universes in Super Paper Mario, etc. As for intelligence, Mario’s hat is a custom-made fall-out shelter, he builds a time machine that can target people across time and harm characters like Bowser out of a barrel in the manga, builds a functioning, efficient submarine out of nothing but water pipes and a bathtub, has what is essentially omnilingualism (he can understand entirely different languages (like Chain Chomp language and Shroob language, which Shroob language itself is rather a complex and dead language) out of just instances in battle where he hears his opponent’s mere utterances a foreign language), etc. Issues with the fight? Well, I mean, it was going well until Bowser had been crushed. Realistically, had Toppo tried that, Bowser would have been flattened and reformed. A better way to have gotten rid of Bowser would have been Toppo grabbing Bowser from the tail and swinging him away back to his castle. I don’t understand why Mario didn’t simply bring out his hammer to deflect Toppo’s projectiles or use Superguard on Toppo’s close range attacks to nullify the damage Toppo would’ve done and reflect that damage onto Toppo. Given Mario’s immeasurable speed, GoD Toppo should NOT have been blitzing him the way he was depicted to have been doing. Also I probably missed the explanation, but is GoD Toppo invulnerable? That’s how it seems, but I would like to inform you again that Mario does have invulnerability negation from both his base attacks and power-up attacks. Okay so explain to me why that explosion had any effect on Mario? Not only has Mario tanked larger attacks but is completely immune to the effects of fire and explosion manipulation. That and the way Mario died made no sense. He’s resisted existence erasure on way too many occasions. Surviving having his paint absorbed out of him (paint is a substance in the verse that makes up all of existence), being able to come back via the obvious resurrection and his save & load (which are both commonly recognized as canonical abilities several times), being able to come back from being sucked into a black hole after the black hole had been erased, Mario being unaffected by attacks that normally erase the target (Mario’s ice attacks have been shown to completely erase targets, and they have also been shown to operate at absolute zero at times, completely splitting apart targets into nothing, yet Mario’s been unaffected by ice attacks from other enemies, in which ice attacks share the same properties universally), also given Mario’s several showcasings of innate intangibility, Mario should’ve passed through Toppo’s projectiles, attacks, and the eventual grip Toppo had used on him to erase him, and there are forces such as the Player who can’t erase Mario, nor the Void which erases all of existence and had no effect upon Mario, Mario commonly absorbs Starmen, which are made up of Mini-Stars, in which Mini-Stars erase targets, and Mario isn’t affected by this, Bob-ombs have been used to completely erase Pokeys in Mario Kart Wii, yet Mario isn’t erased after being blasted by a Bob-omb in the same game, Starman Mario naturally causes existence erasure, and even then, so has Mario’s basic attacks, in which Mario’s base attacks have also induced power erasure and invulnerability negation, in which he’s immune to such hax-inducing attacks as well. I don’t see why that limit on the Starman matters, seeing as it’s been shown to last infinitely in NSMBW and NSMBU, but also because of the functionality of the Bottomless Gloves, and him being able to summon and absorb Starmen out of nothing. You people claim Toppo scales to solar system level and such when Mario, in base, has beaten amped Bowser numerous times, including Dreamy Bowser, who is infused with the Dream Depot, an infinite-dimensional realm where each dream (in which there would be an infinite amount of dreams) become a universe, and this is contained within the Dream Stone, which Mario broke upon defeating Dreamy Bowser. I have more issues, but I’ll stop here. Peak animation, however. Keep up the good work.

Than there's also the earlier times clock, used to reverse a battle entirely (super mario RPG) However I doubt that'd make a considerable difference due to Dragon ball speed feats being broken as all hell

What is blud talking about 🤦♂️ There are multiple Mario games that are told in the form of stories (games like Super Paper Mario), fictional video games in the verse (referenced various times in the manga for example; also from series like WarioWare), and even plays (games like Odyssey, and especially Super Mario Bros. 3), and even guidebooks (the information of the guidebooks and the guidebooks themselves are acknowledged as canon in games like Super Paper Mario, and even some Donkey Kong games to my recollection), but none of that debunks the sequel's canonicity. I mean do you believe the Paper Mario series is just a big scrapbook because of that aesthetic and that being what some of the games are told through? The cartoons do have notable feats (the Mario and Luigi dodging the Sun feat was calced at FTL for example, but also scenarios like the cast entering a dimension beyond space and time, along with the show showing a lot of abilities and ability-related feats). Also elaborate on what you said about the Mario manga.
For Mario’s strength, you should’ve considered feats like Mario having the strength to resist and casually outswim a black hole that warps multiple galaxies in Mario Party 6 (also counts as a speed feat, and he was also able to fan a wind turbine quickly enough to generate electricity across what seems to be half of an entire town in approximately ten seconds in that same game). In the comics, Mario is not only so strong that he hits a golf ball with a mere stick hard enough to snap a plane in half and continue bouncing forward, but also skilled enough to do so and have the ball land into the hole. As for Mario’s durability, seeing as attack potency should be relative to durability, Mario’s been consistently able to harm and even kill Bowser in base form, and Bowser tanked the destruction of the universe in Mario Galaxy, without Rosalina’s protection. Mario also survived the sheer attack potency of the Void, which in question, is an inescapable hole in the dimensional fabric of space. It erases all existence, worlds, dimensions, space, and time, and Mario tanked this and survived its destruction of Sammer’s Kingdom, essentially erasing it. In New Super Mario Bros. Wii, he gets launched out of a cannon from World 1 to World 5, and is completely unaffected by the impact of the fall, also landing perfectly in the process, in Odyssey, he gets launched off of Bowser’s airship, all the way from the Mushroom Kingdom to the Cap Kingdom (which is basically the equivalent of being shot between continents), and easily tanks the impact.
Speed is a bit wild. As for speed, Mario can dodge and attack the Millennium Star, who as an infant, flew from the center of the universe in seconds, has existed and moved in areas beyond space and time (the Void in Super Paper Mario, the Cutout World in Color Splash, Bowser’s Warped Orbit in Mario Party 8, etc.), jumped through time in Yoshi’s New Island, dodged meteors that were able to hit a moving Starship Mario (which has been stated to travel through space and time, but also travels past several universes in two seconds, in which universes in Mario are commonly infinite), Mario’s dodged Shroob UFO attacks, and these UFOs can travel from the other side of the universe to Mario’s planet in no less than a few minutes, Mario has dodged attacks from DK, who can react and move while being shot out of a Bonus Barrel (which shoots its occupant through space and time), Mario still moves in Tick Tock Clock where time is either flowing normally, accelerating, decelerating, reversing, or completely stopped, Mario fought Culex (who literally consumes time, and is a master of time and space) in a dimensional rift, which by definition, are devoid of time and space, Mario dodged Voids sent at him by Count Bleck, in which the Void and its kind is omnipresent throughout all universes in Super Paper Mario, etc.
As for intelligence, Mario’s hat is a custom-made fall-out shelter, he builds a time machine that can target people across time and harm characters like Bowser out of a barrel in the manga, builds a functioning, efficient submarine out of nothing but water pipes and a bathtub, has what is essentially omnilingualism (he can understand entirely different languages (like Chain Chomp language and Shroob language, which Shroob language itself is rather a complex and dead language) out of just instances in battle where he hears his opponent’s mere utterances a foreign language), etc.
Issues with the fight? Well, I mean, it was going well until Bowser had been crushed. Realistically, had Toppo tried that, Bowser would have been flattened and reformed. A better way to have gotten rid of Bowser would have been Toppo grabbing Bowser from the tail and swinging him away back to his castle. I don’t understand why Mario didn’t simply bring out his hammer to deflect Toppo’s projectiles or use Superguard on Toppo’s close range attacks to nullify the damage Toppo would’ve done and reflect that damage onto Toppo. Given Mario’s immeasurable speed, GoD Toppo should NOT have been blitzing him the way he was depicted to have been doing. Also I probably missed the explanation, but is GoD Toppo invulnerable? That’s how it seems, but I would like to inform you again that Mario does have invulnerability negation from both his base attacks and power-up attacks. Okay so explain to me why that explosion had any effect on Mario? Not only has Mario tanked larger attacks but is completely immune to the effects of fire and explosion manipulation. That and the way Mario died made no sense. He’s resisted existence erasure on way too many occasions. Surviving having his paint absorbed out of him (paint is a substance in the verse that makes up all of existence), being able to come back via the obvious resurrection and his save & load (which are both commonly recognized as canonical abilities several times), being able to come back from being sucked into a black hole after the black hole had been erased, Mario being unaffected by attacks that normally erase the target (Mario’s ice attacks have been shown to completely erase targets, and they have also been shown to operate at absolute zero at times, completely splitting apart targets into nothing, yet Mario’s been unaffected by ice attacks from other enemies, in which ice attacks share the same properties universally), also given Mario’s several showcasings of innate intangibility, Mario should’ve passed through Toppo’s projectiles, attacks, and the eventual grip Toppo had used on him to erase him, and there are forces such as the Player who can’t erase Mario, nor the Void which erases all of existence and had no effect upon Mario, Mario commonly absorbs Starmen, which are made up of Mini-Stars, in which Mini-Stars erase targets, and Mario isn’t affected by this, Bob-ombs have been used to completely erase Pokeys in Mario Kart Wii, yet Mario isn’t erased after being blasted by a Bob-omb in the same game, Starman Mario naturally causes existence erasure, and even then, so has Mario’s basic attacks, in which Mario’s base attacks have also induced power erasure and invulnerability negation, in which he’s immune to such hax-inducing attacks as well. I don’t see why that limit on the Starman matters, seeing as it’s been shown to last infinitely in NSMBW and NSMBU, but also because of the functionality of the Bottomless Gloves, and him being able to summon and absorb Starmen out of nothing. You people claim Toppo scales to solar system level and such when Mario, in base, has beaten amped Bowser numerous times, including Dreamy Bowser, who is infused with the Dream Depot, an infinite-dimensional realm where each dream (in which there would be an infinite amount of dreams) become a universe, and this is contained within the Dream Stone, which Mario broke upon defeating Dreamy Bowser. I have more issues, but I’ll stop here. Peak animation, however. Keep up the good work.

This honestly was suuuuuuuuuper unfair. Game feats are great and all, but no matter what, mario wasn't winning. I purpose a rematch with Paper and RPG feats. Then we can say if Toppa really wins this battle
So i just i want to confirm something: if a God of Destruction's Hakai can bypass immortality, would it be to bypass the immunity to damage the Golden Tanooki Suit has if that powerup was included? I imagine that it would as it most likely give Toppo trouble until he activates his GoD mode.
Considering the immortality Zamasu has prevents him from taking damage in a similar manner to the invincibility power ups, yes, I am certain it can.

I didn't really care about the matchup being one sided though cuz the actual fight was godlike! so much back and forth and awesome choreography. Kudos on the animator and to everyone who worked on this.
