It’s a nice vid. I’ve been debating back and forth if I should get one or not I’ll be looking forward to your little review on it.
I’ll tell you right now, its a noticeable difference from a complete stop. But yeah, I should be able to do a review on it sometime this week, if not next week for sure
Do you need a tune or is this instant ups in power
my impact tool/tank at home only does about 4.5 cfm @ 90psi and it wouldn't break the bolt loose. I got a pulley holder for 15$ and I'm going to put a 30" breaker bar on it this weekend and do it by hand.
Yeah we tried doing it the first time with home tools and the bolt wouldn’t budge but in this video we went to a DIY garage and they had all the tools we needed
Good video, and I can't wait for the review.
Hella firme
love my VA Hatches
Is there a lot of reliability risks changing to a lighter one.
Nope, still on my corolla to this day. Running smooth as new
Badass 🔥
What is the torque spec on the bolt?
How does the lightweight pulley make a difference.?
How much horse power did the car supposedly gain from a lightweight crank pulley...???
Does the NST crank shaft pulley have a smaller diameter compared to the stock crankshaft pulley?
If the NST crank shaft pulley has a smaller diameter, won't it underdrive the alternator, compressor and water pump?
no its the same diameter its the weight of the pulley that is different
This is not DIY friendly as shown. If you want to do DIY, jack the front of car up, put jack stands on both sides, let it rest on jack stands, then again jack the car only until it touches the jack point. You should now have 3 points of contact lifting the car.
Then, you will need as many breaker bar extensions as you can get the bar out of the wheel well so you have 360 degrees of room and control to loosen. Youll need a really damn good breaker bar, and loosen it slowly, DO NOT LET THE BREAKER BAR RECOIL, this will shift the weight of the car and can potentially make it tip over.
After 2-3 tries of understanding the physics, it comes loose very easily.
No average person has access to world class impact air guns that cost 700 dollars+
What size is the bolt?
22mm
NOT THE IFRVS
