No one knows the pain of addiction like the ones that go through it. No one feels the pain like the mom and dad who watch their child living hell on earth. My son was going through his addiction when this song came out. I listened to it every day. It helped me make it through and know that one day I would be back on the mountain of GOD with my family. Today, my son is a recovering addict who has been saved and redeemed by our LORD JESUS. HE is faithful. Thanks to Mac and 3rd Day for all they do.

I was feeling really down this morning after a 'yucky' week of being up and down with worry about a loved one plus a few other things and our amazing and loving Father gave me this song when I turned the radio on to really remind me he is always beside us, to help us. All we need to do is ask and trust in him. Thank you Father.... and thank you Good Day. I've just discovered a new group to listen to :-) Yay!!!
This song has such great lyrics. Particularly the part which says "I must go through the valley to stand upon the mountain of God." Just great stuff! That lyric shows how God must purify us in order to improve and establish our character so that we can be partakers of his holiness.

Belto, I am a women who's had a few supernatural experiences with the living God. What first brought me to him was an answered prayer I had prayed as a child. It was about being an adult and it was right on time. There was NO other explanation and it blew me away. This brought me to a search of the "real" God. I found him. My concern for you is have you adequately done the research? I'd say no. Also I have a science background and professional person. Think about it. It matters. †

That is my belief: Jesus Christ is the son of God who came and died to rescue me. The good new is that He resurrected beating the death furthermore now I live with Him and death has no power upon me any longer. But this is faith man. You don't buy or learn this. You just believe. Without him I don't know how hard and senseless life would be! He secures my hope even through the hardest times. I was brought up as a christian so i feel like i have done enough research to make a logical decision on being a christian. What amazes me is that you say there was NO other explanation to your prayer being answered, i dunno what your prayer was but why couldn't there of been a logical explanation for it? Its that kinda attitude which has held us back, instead of asking how something happened you just say god did it. Its funny how god only does nice stuff for people never anything bad.

I know that sometimes religion might cause problems when you take the wrong path and put your faith in the ritual only, even in Christianity as you may see in Ireland where Catholics and Protestants fight against each other doing exactly the contrary of what Jesus taught.
