I love "Where I they now" videos. I'd love if you could look back at past winners of the FA Youth Cup and see how many of those players have played first team football, let alone gone on to reach their full potential.
Would love to see more of these kinds of videos. An interesting view back to the past and its great to see how right or wrong you and the rest of the footballing community were on things.
7 smartest footballers (outside the game). Players who were well renowned for their off the field intelligence, pragmatism, academic achievement etc...
God it's so annoying trying to watch a video and have the person trying to hawk some absolute tat or shite mobile game or whatever useless wank is popular at the time. I never want any of it.
Video idea: on the decline of Dutch trainers. Michels, Van Gaal, Cruyff, Hiddink are all legendary trainers. But the last decades there have been only "flops": Van Basten, Gullit, Cocu, Van Bommel, Koeman.. exceptional players who couldnt get their trainercareer really up and running. What happened??
I think that maybe it had something to do with their past. Those great historic managers you mentioned all had quite average careers, at least they weren't at any point considered world class, bar Cruyff obviously but he's in a class of his own. And as the usual cliché goes, great players don't equate to great managers most of the time. But I am sure there are som more underlying factors concerning the dutch football system which could make for an interesting video.
@@linusminus3 Van basten, Gulit and Koeman NOT world class?? Wow that's recenty bias at it's finest. Lol you could also make a case for Cocu but those 3 where defenerly world class

it sounds like you’re a lot more comfortable narrating videos now. keep up the great work! you’re one of my favorite channels and i hope you keep making videos for a long time :)
This was a great video! I would be interested in a wonderkids series, where are they now. Maybe from 2016/17 onwards. I would like to see some kind of tangible summary / takeaway though. For example, the top 10 wonderkids for each season, what percentage actually made is as top stars each season. Can it be defined that maybe only 40% ever reach the heights expected for example. You'd obviously have to determine what success looks like too... Maybe playing X amount of games in Europe, playing over 70% of available minutes at club level, making certain amount international appearances and as a bonus any honours individually or team based.
Maybe pick the top 10 wonderkids from each season? Also factor in things like did loans, transfers or injuries hamper or benefit their development .. You could then end on a prediction for the current wonderkids, based on the stats we get from the other videos.. which 40% will have more chance of making it etc.
A video about the success story of Port Vale since Carol Shanahan took over, considering we just won the playoff final. Her charity work, bringing in Darrell Clark, then the things he went through this season. Fun fact #3:Panagiotis Retsos is the 3rd highest Greek transfer with 22 million euros behind Kostas Mitroglou with 27,5 million euros(from Benfica to Marseille)and Kostas Manolas with 36 million euros(from Roma to Napoli).
Mbappe is also the chosen son of the ultras that have been--putting it kindly--protesting what their club had been doing. Not to be the "well actually" guy, but there's that case. In addition to all the other benefits of being on a team partially owned by Nike (and why they trot PSG players and PSG branded stuff everywhere).

The ‘looking back’ type videos are always some of my favourites.
The main takeaway from this is that Sheffield United seem to have based their transfer policy on HITC Sevens videos
If they are watching this they should sign up Alfie as a scout
