We need to have trust in the Lord, believing He is a better Savior than us being the worst sinners and He will do the good work. All we need to do is to surrender daily to Jesus and allow Him to work in us. That is why beholding Jesus instead of focusing on our own shortcomings is so important. When I look at myself I feel it is impossible for me to be saved, but when I look at Jesus I believe it is impossible for me to be lost.

Shelley think about Saul, what he did to Christians, still God forgave him and see how he won souls for Christ. So trust that God has forgiven you too.

Please enlighten me about Rev. 16:12. IF IT is symbolic, is the finding that today the level of water in River Euphrates is getting low. not related to the symbol?

The drying of the river represents the last day's.

The River Euphrates is metaphoric. It represents peoples (and is not directly related to the actual body of water). Instead, the drying up refers to the withdrawal of support/favor by the masses when they see that they have been deceived, as evidenced in verse 11. The kings of the east represent Jesus the Christ, coming King, with His hosts to destroy His enemies and fix this awful mess we've gotten ourselves into.

      Hi Rola,
The water level of the River Euphrates getting lower in the Middle East today is likely not related to this prophecy. Water levels of rivers can rise and fall over time. The fulfillment of this prophecy is a symbolic one that refers back to when the literal River Euphrates was dried up during the fall of Babylon in 539 BC. A spiritual fulfillment will take place when modern-day spiritual Babylon's support will be withdrawn by its people. Bear in mind, the drying up of the River Euphrates described in Rev. 16:12 takes place during the sixth of the seven last plagues. We have not seen the fulfillment of the first five plagues yet, so any actual drying up of the river's water would be very premature in the biblical scheme of things.
