You really dont need a recap because what they tell you in one movie is completely forgotten rewritten in the next one. This series is so bad I dont see why would anyone invest any time in watching anything but the first movie if any

Movie was an original story within the lore. That's why it was good. Two and up started to go bad because of because they started too hard to bring the game characters into the story.
I don't hate all six films. I actually loved the first trilogy, but the rest just devolved to Alice being a flawless superhuman not even Wesker could match.
I was a kid who had just finished playing re1, 2, and nemesis. Even tho this movie was different from what I expected, I still made my mom take me to the cinema 3 or 4 times to see this as it was awesome in my eyes, and always will be. I wasn't a fan of the following films, maybe I kinda liked number 2, but it would never beat the first one. Wish I could go back to those days.
Also, I never really noticed there seems to be a plot hole - Red Queen states she cannot hurt Umbrella employees, and has to protect human life in general. But she executed the entire staff of the facility rather brutally in the first movie. And this action did little to prevent the spread, cause she never passed the information about the outbreak to anyone - neither the Umbrella, nor authorities, nor even the local staff If the cure for the T-Virus is fabricated, its possible that the lab staff could have manufactured some antidote in time. And it seems like the thief stole the virus & antidotes before normal work hours, so people could have been barred entry once the AI detected the virus spreading. Unless something was changed in the AI, it didn't seem to be in conflict until the very last movie.
I never really had a crush on Milla Jovovich when I was young, I was more into Sienna Guillory who plays Jill Valentine. Now a little bit older after watching this video of RE1 and RE2, I now realize I took for granted how gorgeous Milla Jovovich was when she was younger.
I can't tell if you're being serious about the movies being a masterpiece. Sure the movies aren't horrible, but saying they're a masterpiece. That seems a bit of a stretch lol

What I liked the least was you could really see, when they started 3D movies. The kamera angles became annoying and the slow motion etc.
