I just want Goldson, Tav, Davies and Souttar moved on. With better CBs we can compete. Sterling would be better for RB. On a side note as much as I want Clement to show he is the right man, bring in better and rebuild our defence, it worries me that he thought Silva was good enough and he stuck with him even though he was crap all season. Silva showed nothing and working hard wasn't enough. That should be a given at this level. Also Koppen brought Silva in. I hope Koppens judgement is better than that going forward. I see Silva kidding himself that he did well and moaning he got criticism. He was pish, got paid highly. He should suck it up. Not a case of STICKING with Silva.More than likely the loan deal with Wolves meant he HAD to play a certain amount of games or we pay them an additional fee.
@davidfraser6950 If that's the case that deal was mental. Obviously we don't know mate. No one should ever have a contract here that dictates they play.

None of them can rise to the pressure defensively against Celtic or at the business end of a season. They also have really bad defensive brain parts against teams we should be beating well. As much as we do need more firepower for definite in wide areas and upfront and midfield, the biggest reason we lost last season is our inability to defend well. Had it not been for Butland Celtic would have finished further infront than they did. If I had my way, there would be a complete clear out of our backline as the biggest part of the rebuild. Not too keen on this guy tbh but I guess if he only costs £1m then fair enough. Still, could we not just buy Arrmstrong from Killie for the same price? Sure he wouldn’t bet us a huge profit in the future but he is proven in the league- which is the main competition we need to improve in. Armstrong will guarantee you goals and especially assists.
I wouldn't even take him on loan. The alarm bells should be going off when we look at his injury history. That tells me the change to recrutiment and standards is lip service only if they sign him or Sima. Sima also has a poor injury record before he got here.
