There isn't enough range for this detachment to feel unique. There's so many units that would be really fun and cool turned beast snagga. A few I thought of are; Monsta Lootas (kinda bad name but I couldn't think of a better one) which have huge harpoons, and it literally talks about beast snagga lootas in the codex; squig wranglers which would be like meks but instead of guns they have squigs wired up to power sources that spit power/whatever; beast snagga nobz- this isn't a new idea; meganobz but they're just really burly and thick instead of wearing mega armour; melta squig boyz which are burna boyz that use squigs that shoot flame; stormboyz that hang onto flying squigs (thought of by the drunken ork); prey huntas, which are kommandos that use tracking and things with sniffa squigs that are like police dogs; flya-squig boyz, that are sqighogs with wings: basically a deffkopta equivalent; maybe a buggy equivalent that is just a trampla squig, kind of like a lot smaller squiggoth.
Funny, this is almost the exact same list I made, except I put a Wurrboy in instead of another beast boss so that I could put in 20 grots with Zodgrod. Wurrboy with 20 beast Snagga can really dish out some pain due to his ability. I feel like it’s pretty slept on
Heroic intervention says, “… resolve that charge, as if it were your charge phase.” Wonder if that wording would allow you to use Unstoppable Momentum on your opponents turn?

Nope, you cant use the Stratagem. Just check the „out of phase“-rule.
I think the lack of variety with the Beast Snaggas comes from the fact that they don’t have a lot different types of units. Sometimes I wish they were new unit types instead of a seperate subarmy, or they have to release more types of bs units in the future.
On the subject of the detachment, it probably is a more straight forward in line of rules since the new combat patrol is all Beast Snaggas. (Not my pick for the new cp, but that’s a subject of a whole different discussion) If you pick up the bs cp to start 40k with, then you’ll be able to easily upgrade to a full army with this detachment. Which is good, since starting out in 40k is rough. 40k definitely no easy game to get into.

Right now, this and the previous video were very grating with audio clicks, pops, and blowouts. I can't finish them.
The original setup was way better for my tastes.
